Book Review: Deceived by L.A. Starkey

Deceived  is a fabulous novel telling the two of how two twin brothers are part of a prophecy. Torn to fight and hate they have one thing in common…their one mate. They can reach her barley touching her dreams. Samantha is the lost Pandora’s daughter, completely unaware of her heritage. She is in a human world struggling with believing what is or isn’t true. Both Marcus and his twin brother Nicolas want her. Which one of the brother’s will win her heart? And what happen’s when one of them does win her heart? Will Samantha choose one of the brothers? And what about guarding her heart against everyone so as not to have it broken again? Time is running out, where will Samantha and the two brothers be when all is said and done?

Greek mythology, romance, and mystery all wrapped into one incredible story. A story that will leave readers breathless and never wanting to put the novel down. I loved reading this young adult novel. Following Samantha and her journey of discovering who she really is and where her heart leads her is compelling. The two brothers, Marcus and Nicolas add to the plot making for an interesting read. A fascinating world, so much like our very own but magically told in way that is addictive and alluring. Readers will want to read Deceived and find out what goes on between the brothers, the prophecy, and Samantha.

L.A. Starkey has created a well written plot with characters that come to life. Scenes that are vivid and beautifully told. A must read novel for all. I can definitely say that this one amazing story can be a cross-over novel. So much of the story can be related by all. Overall, I rate this novel a five out of five stars.
