Unbreakable Bonds by Carolyn Ridder Aspenson is one of the best mystery/ sleuth novels that I have read. Her novel realistically portrays the real life of a family. The parents struggling to get their eldest daughter behaved, the wife suffering through menopause and the fact that she has the ability to communicate with ghosts. The best friend of the main character is going through a tough time. Her husband is cheating on her and she calls on her friend to help her find the proof she needs. And one way to find it is to use the old connection her friend has with communicating with ghosts. A funny novel that takes readers on the ups and downs of marriage, parenting and dealing with the loss of a loved one. I found the story well written, and addictive to read. The family life was so real I couldn’t believe I was reading a fiction novel. Families have their quirks and this one family and their friends will keep readers coming back. Carolyn Ridder has a fresh raw talent that is fun, exciting, and takes you on an inspirational journey as they mysteries unfold. I highly recommend reading this novel and rate it a five out of five stars.
