Review: Bring Me to Life

Anastasia wanted to be a witch. One of her friends even found a spell to give her magic. But before the spell is over, Anastasia dies. She wakes up in Hell, having to serve a purgatory sentence for her crime.

When Anastasia is suddenly ripped out of Hell and brought topside, Ezra, a demon working for Lucifer, is told to send her soul down below. When he finds her, there are questions that must be answered. He decides to keep her alive until he knows her friends won’t resurrect her again.

While he still has Anastasia, he’s sent on another assignment. They have to work together to stop a murderer. But as she and Ezra grow closer, the decision to get away from him becomes harder. To save her life and find out the truth behind her death, she must leave the only person who has made her ever feel alive.

My Rating: 5 stars

My Review:

Bring Me to Life by Nicole Thorn is one addictive read. A story unlike any other. Here, readers get a refreshing yet a believable story that entices them in like moths to a flame. Two unlikely characters met under certain circumstances…and while they are stuck together working side-by-side, a chemistry begins to form. Sparks are flying everywhere and readers are encouraged to read further to find out what happens next. Nicole Thorn is a talented writer who can lure readers easily to her lair, or should I say a world of fiction? Anastasia fascinates readers from the first page as well as Erza the demon. But her friends are also, enjoyable to follow along as the story develops. Readers will be taken on one adventure to another one as they follow the new pair to the end. Overall, I absolutely loved reading this novel. I look forward to reading more brilliant paranormal romance pieces by Nicole Thorn in the future. Her characters are out of this world. Bring Me to Life, is one read that I highly recommend to readers everywhere.
