Review: Legacy

Synopsis:

How do you want to feel today?
In 2041, the choice is yours.
San Francisco is deserted, the Bay Bridge bombed, and the BART subway trains grounded. The Guardians, members of an elite and mysterious government-appointed military police force, are maintaining order at all costs–thanks to emotion-altering drugs like Emovere that suppress fear and anxiety. Lex Knightley, daughter of a prominent forensic psychiatrist, risks entering the devastated city to partner with the Resistance, a group of rebels intent upon exposing the dangers of Emovere. Lex discovers an ally in Quin McAllister, a magnetic Guardian Force recruit with a haunting past that binds them together. As she uncovers the secrets of the Guardian Force and confronts the truth about her family, Lex begins to realize that even those closest to her are not quite who they seem.

Review:
Legacy by Ellery A. Kane is indeed one brilliantly well-written novel that readers have to add to their top reading lists. Ellery A. Kane has spun together a highly intense military novel that is so advanced it’s mind blowing…the military like always have a bad motive for doing what they do…and one woman teams up with others to stop them. A journey that drags readers in deep and holds them prisoner until the ending.
Every page is suspenseful, dark, and intriguing. A drug that is so powerful, it’s scary to even think about it ever being anything but a fictional nightmare. Ellery A. Kane has beautifully brought readers one of the most entertaining novels I have read. This book should be a big motion screen picture. There’s action, love, and secrets as well as realistic characters that lure readers further into every page. Legacy is definitely one thriller I highly recommend to readers everywhere. Readers won’t be disappointed.
