Synopsis:
Sloan Bradshaw is a sassy but classy business woman of a multi-billion dollar company but has been unable to depend on anyone all her life. Losing her husband in Iraq wasn’t foreseen but like always she forged on. However, this time, she wasn’t the only one left behind. Her seven-year-old son Oliver has tender emotions and her desire to protect him leads to a very unwise lie. That his father is still alive. Wanting to tell Oliver the truth; she searches for the best environment to do so. Since her husband left behind land in his home state of Oklahoma she makes the big move from N.Y.C. to his property, Meadow Creek Farms. It’s even conveniently closer to her wonderful in-laws. What Sloan doesn’t count on is the sarcastic, somewhat bitter and good-looking farmhand that has but one single motive. To run her off the land. Joseph Two Blood is interested in Meadow Creek for two reasons; his tribal ancestors once had a village running along the creek and he has hopes to use it for the local youth. Sloan’s move ruins that and her irritating way of handling all the challenges are making him doubt his reasons. As he bonds with her son and learns more about why she is so guarded yet strong he finds himself falling for this unconventional city girl.

Review:
Meadow Creek by Nicole Strycharz is the indeed a must read romance for all. Once again, Nicole Strycharz has delivered a powerful tale that will sweep readers off their feet and onto a journey of discovery. This brilliantly well-written tale consists of death, loss, of a loved one, and the strength to move forward. Courage, hope, and love are also many of the themes we see in Meadow Creek.
Inside this sweet, beautiful, and intriguing read, readers are introduced to a strong independent woman who has lost her husband like many other wives have and struggles to deal with her son’s revelation that his father is gone. Not knowing how to deal with delivering the news, Sloan has decided to move her and her son back to where land has been left by her husband. It’s there where the matter of the heart lies… both her son and a farmhand have her head spinning and her heart tangled up in knots. Being a confident man especially one with a purpose, Joseph will go after Sloan with all he has…but what fate has in store for these three will pull, tug, and captivate readers’ hearts. I loved reading Meadow Creek. Just like all of her previous novels, Nicole Strycharz is a master at hooking her readers until the last page and creating unforgettable characters. Readers beware, this is a superb novel that will be just as addictive as sweets are tempting…Overall, I highly recommend Meadow Creek to readers everywhere.
