Review: Crossing in Time

Crossing In Time: An Edgy Sci-Fi Love Story (Between Two Evils Book 1) by [Orton, D. L.]

Synopsis:

If someone took everything you live for, how far would you go to get it back?

When offered a one-way trip to the past, Iz sacrifices everything for a chance to change her dystopian future—and see her murdered lover one last time.

After a perilous journey through a black hole, she wakes up on a tropical beach, buck-naked and mortally wounded—but twenty years younger! With only hours to live, she must convince an enraptured but skeptical twenty-something guy to fix their future relationship and thereby save the planet (no one is quite sure why.)

But it’s easier said than done, as success means losing him to a brainy, smart-mouthed bombshell (her younger self), and that’s a heartbreaker, save the world or not.

Rating: 5 stars

Review:

Crossing in Time by DL Orton is the first book in the Between Two Evils series. This novel is outstanding. I want to laugh out loud at the moments when the sexy irresistible man is driving the woman crazy and they both know it but she keeps up trying to not let him get to her. Too late. He has and will get under her skin. Loss, love, and redemption. Crossing in Time is an emotional journey that readers won’t ever forget. I fell in love automatically with the main characters. I felt sad, loved, and happy. The ending left me hanging…I can’t wait to read the second book in this amazing series. Exciting, suspenseful, and well-developed. Going across the universe during different times can be a hassel especially for the two lovers in this book. Overall, I highly recommend this novel to all.
