Review: One Look At You

One Look At You by [Hartwell, Sofie]

Synopsis:

Livie is wrapped up in her new life and ready to face whatever comes. She’s got an ideal job at an international company, a stellar reputation as a personal assistant to one of the top finance executives in the company, and three friends who she shares just about everything with. Weekends are for chores, but with a roommate who needs cheering up, it’s hard to turn down a night out with the group. It never occurs to her that the single night out might be more than she’s bargained for and that she would meet that cool stranger at the bar. For better or for worse, though, the next morning finds her with little memory of the night’s events, and more worries, than she’s counted on.

When she shows up for work, she finds out that a new Chief Financial Officer is due to arrive soon. To her shock and dismay, it turns out to be the handsome stranger from Saturday night. Whether he’ll recognize her or not, or how soon, is hard to tell, but before she knows it, Livie’s life is far more complicated than she’d imagined it could become.

Review:

One Look At You by Sofie Hartwell is a dazzling romantic comedy. One that instantly begs readers to read further. The plotlines are addictive. Every page, sends readers moving through the story in a fast-paced motion. A woman goes out to have a fun night and ends up waking to a man by her side. The details are fuzzy. But when she gets back to work, she meets the new CEO. The only issue is that the new CEO is indeed the man she slept with…Sofie Hartwell packs a lot of heat, intrigue, and humor into this stunning short read. I absolutely loved reading this masterpiece by her. Overall, I highly recommend this hot romance to all.
