Review: Random Acts of Marriage

Random Acts of Marriage (Wedding Favors) by [Brux, Boone]

Synopsis:

Kinni Corbet is the perfect bridesmaid. She’s efficient and has a to-do list for every occasion. When the bride-to-be adds “relax and have some fun” to Kinni’s schedule, Price Lyons seems to tick all the right boxes. He’s guaranteed fun, and it’s only for one week—what can it hurt?

Playboy hotel owner Price Lyons has wanted to break down Kinni’s walls for years. Her plan to relax for a whole week is the perfect opportunity to get to the one person he’s never been able to charm. And this time, she seems…receptive to his advances. Unexpected, but he’ll take it.

There’s just one problem. Kinni’s allergic, to spontaneity, and the only thing predictable about Price is he’s unpredictable. There’s no way they’ll last beyond the week, and Kinni’s going to make sure of it…

Review:

Random Acts of Marriage by Boone Brux is a contemporary romance novel that all will love. It takes readers on an emotional rollercoaster. Feelings such as sadness, indecision, and warmth will tug at readers’ hearts. The emotions felt raw and very much real. Internal struggles were powerful within this read. Readers will also meet families that are quirky and highly entertaining. Both families really cared about each other. That part was beautifully done. Boone Brux kept me in suspense throughout the novel. Love was the main theme and well played.  Addictive from the start, I couldn’t tear away from the book.  Instantly hooked. The leading female character has flaws that draw readers closer to her. Relationships in her past that didn’t go well…and so, she was determined to stay away from them. However, fate brought what she didn’t want in her life. Where it will go is something I highly recommend to readers to read. Fun is something the character doesn’t want but is trapped into by her best friend. From there the scenes get more interesting. Thus, enters Price. He meets Kinni and wants to do everything he can to keep her. But getting under her skin and staying there will be the hardest thing ever. I enjoyed reading this brilliant romance. It was sweet, funny, and well-developed. Overall, I recommend it to readers everywhere.
