Review: Too Hot to Handle by Tessa Bailey

When rescue looks like a whole lot of trouble . . .

The road trip was definitely a bad idea. Having already flambéed her culinary career beyond recognition, Rita Clarkson is now stranded in God-Knows-Where, New Mexico, with a busted-ass car and her three temperamental siblings, who she hasn’t seen in years. When rescue shows up—six-feet-plus of hot, charming sex on a motorcycle—Rita’s pretty certain she’s gone from the frying pan right into the fire . . .

Jasper Ellis has a bad boy reputation in this town, and he loathes it. The moment he sees Rita, though, Jasper knows he’s about to be sorely tempted. There’s something real between them. Something raw. And Jasper has only a few days to show Rita that he isn’t just for tonight—he’s forever.

Rating: 5-stars

Too Hot to Handle by Tessa Bailey is the first novel of a fascinating series. Here, readers meet a family so dysfunctional and real that it’s hard not to enjoy reading it. Each sibling adds to the book. Their clashing personalities makes this an interesting read. During a road trip to follow their beloved mother’s dying wish…the sibling get together and all hell breaks loose. Imagine a sister and brother arguing to the point that the rest of their siblings think murder will be on the menu. It doesn’t help that each sibling has their own life with things they need to do…then to squeeze together for the trip…is full of arguements, rivalry, and passion hot enough to set a forest on fire. Then, suddenly enters a hero. A hot sexy man, riding a bike to his grandma’s. He stops to help and when he does…he can’t get enough of one sibling…Rita Clarkson. She’s strong and hot enough to set his body on fire. Their meeting was perfect…

Tessa Bailey writes a romance that drags readers deep into her characters’ lives. Each character has a way of making readers laugh, cry, and love them. Troubles, disasters, and a romance is brewing ahead for readers in this exciting read. I could not get enough of Rita and Jasper Ellis. Opposites in so many ways but both have enough passion that softens their rough feathers. The tough kick ass personalities makes them my favorite. The family dynamic is hilarious. Readers will love and feel frustrated with each sibling as the story lures them to the last page. Too Hot to Handle was a perfect title. It suited the novel in many ways. Once, I started reading this…I couldn’t stop reading. Overall, I highly recommend this contemporary romance to all.
