Synopsis:
In Copper Ridge, Oregon, a cowboy’s best friend might turn out to be the woman of his dreams…
If Finn Donnelly makes a plan, he sticks to it. After his brothers left Copper Ridge, Finn stayed behind, determined to keep their ranch going by himself. And when he realized his feelings for Lane Jensen were more than platonic, he shoved that inconvenient desire away. It was easy…until it wasn’t. Suddenly his brothers are coming home to claim their share of the property. And Lane is no longer just in his fantasies. She’s in his arms, and their friendship is on the line…
He’s been her buddy, her handyman, her rock. But until that one breathtaking kiss, Lane somehow overlooked the most important thing about Finn Donnelly—he’s all man. They’re right together, no matter how much his volatile past has bruised him. Finn wants to hold Lane’s body, but he doesn’t want to hold her heart. But Lane is falling fast and now she’s got a plan of her own…to show Finn there’s nothing hotter than friendship turned to slow-burning love.

Review:
Maisey Yates latest novel, Slow Burn Cowboy, is a sexy addictive read. Talk about a hot summer novel. Wow. Pent up frustration between two best friends. Each one of them carries a past full of secrets.
Finn pushes everyone in his life away for a reason. So that he doesn’t get hurt again like he was…
Lane feels guilty about something that haunts her present. She’s also afraid of losing her best friend…
Two peas in a pod. One is a fabulous cook and the other is the grouch.
Family soon sweeps into the ranch room. Causing for one brother to being even more grouchy, if possible. Each of his three adult brothers are dealing with life issues. One is no longer in the military, another is dealing with a teenage daughter, and the other wants to be a part of his legacy again.
Maisey Yates brings family, love, and new beginnings to life. Inside Slow Burn Cowboy, I got to follow a variety of characters as they struggled with their own issues. Accepting their pasts and moving forward is difficult for them all. I enjoyed the themes explored on every page. Fun, believable, and entertaining. Overall, I recommend this Cowboy contemporary novel to readers everywhere.
