PROJECT MANAGERS: Are you ready to increase your marketability, network with other project managers, and improve your abilities to lead a project? Become a certified PMP with my efficient, easy-to-follow study guide book, PMBOK (R)Guide and PMP (R) Exam Prep Book 2018-2019: Study Guide on the Project Management Body of Knowledge with Practice Test Questions for the Project Management Professional Exam by Robert P. Nathan!
As any project manager will tell you, time is the most valuable commodity in a project. PMBOK Guide and PMP Exam Prep Book 2018-2019 is designed to make the most of the time you spend preparing for the exam. Rather than being hundreds of pages too long, the following chapters have gone through multiple stages of revision to include only those things that you need to know. The chapters have been designed to be readable, as well as to be easy to scan if you are flipping through.
The structure of my book is based on project management’s five major process groups:
Chapter One: Initiation
Chapter Two: Planning
Chapter Three: Executing
Chapter Four: Monitoring and Controlling
Chapter Five: Closing
Every chapter covers vital information on project management’s ten knowledge areas communication management, cost management, human resources management, integration management, procurement management, quality management, risk management, scope management, stakeholder management, and time management.
Included with every copy of my study guide is:
Ten practice exam questions at the end of each chapter with answers and explanations.
A full two-hundred question practice exam with answers and explanations.
A full glossary of all tested terms.
Access to a FREE app with online flashcards of all tested terms.
This PMOK Guide PMP Exam Prep book is a great study tool. The book is easy to read. The printing is a decent size for my eyes to look at. There is a lot of content for students to read with terms and explanations. There are very few graphs included in this book. You have to be ready for some heavy reading. Besides those few things, it offers everything needed to know. The tests are full length and have answers provided. Plus, the answers are explained as to why that answer is the right one.
I would have loved ways to explain the concepts related to real-life situations. Instead it was more of a monotone lecture to me. I can go to any college business management class and get the long lectures to know the same knowledge. Overall, I would recommend this study guide to new learners who want to learn the background and required materials to pass the PMBOK Exam.
