When the local police dredge up a vintage sports car containing human remains, Lee is thrilled to be the first reporter on the scene. Once she learns the car is connected to the cold case her boyfriend Pete happens to be investigating, her powers of investigation are quickly alerted. But it’s her Aunt Libby’s emotional reaction to Lee’s TV report that puts her on the case. Review:

Final Exam by Carol J. Perry is another exciting adventure for the WITCH-TV reporter, Lee. Lee has her hands full once more. A car with a dead body pops up and memories from the past come to the surface. A guilty man in a powerful seat is soon to expire. His luck has just run out. Lee comes to the rescue of her aunt just in the nick of time. A sneeze saves her time to save her aunt from death. A killer is on the prowl to silence those who knew and those connecting the dots.  Lee’s Aunt happens to be involved and knows some things to help the police. Kidnapping and murder are sure to follow wherever Lee is.

Carol J. Perry created another brilliant cozy murder mystery. It’s all about the timing in this one. Humor and charm are laced on every page. Suspense, risks, and danger are here too.  I love Lee. She is my new favorite noisy amateur sleuth. She sometimes, if not always, outshines the police force including her love interest. Overall, I recommend this mystery novel to all.
