Review:
Remind Me by Samantha Chase is as warm as the sun kissing your skin. Heat, passion, tempers, and old memories come to light in this new book. The prequel, Sunkissed Days, first introduced me to this wonderful couple, Jake and Mallory. Jake isn’t from a family of wealth. He has to work his way to earn what he wants. He’s a proud man. Maybe too, proud at times. Mallory has always had this secret crush on Jake. In the prequel things heated up between them, but then burned out just as quickly. Or did it? Once the passion was lit, neither one can forget it. But broken words, distance, and now sad memories push them farther apart. Jake plans to seduce Mallory back into his life. Forever this time…but it will take everything he has.
In this exciting new series, Samantha Chase has caught my full attention. This contemporary romance novella has everything I want in it. Desire, emotionally rollercoaster, and the friends-to-lovers theme. Remind Me, reminds me why I love reading anything by this author. Her words bring the characters to life. I felt like I have grown up alongside both protagonists. Their journey became mine the instant I started to read. Overall, it was heartfelt. I recommend it to all readers.
