Getting Hot with the Scot by Melonie Johnson is hilarious, heartfelt, and sexy as sin. I loved the characters. Both the main leads and minor ones. Each one had a part in this book that brought it to life. I was instantly swept away by this romance.

Cassie is a young woman who loves to read romance novels. She dreams of one day having that romance in her life. So when she and her friends finally go on their European vacation trip, Cassie hopes for just that. A box of condoms for that one foreign romantic affair and a bracelet to fill with charms from their travels are part of Cassie’s souvenirs.

Logan Reid is a sexy built Scotsman. He is also knpown as the biggest prankster. One such prank episode unplanned happened when he met Cassie. A beautiful American woman who got the better of him. She caught his attention with everything she has and is. Logan struggles with keeping his head clear when she’s around him. And he cannot stay away from her. She pulls him in like a magnet.

Logan has father issues. Those issues lead him to not wanting marriage.

Cassie wants a foreign hot affair. But she may just get more than she bargained for.

Both fall for each other, but where their paths will lead them is a whole load of trouble.

Overall, I highly recommend this romantic tale. I felt like I was right there with Cassie and her friends. Logan and his best mate also made the story fun. Hot charming men plus, outgoing smart women who know what they want is an entertaining plot. Risks, secrets, lies, and love are found here.
