Jake’s Redemption by Jamie Schulz is an interesting new twist on romance novels featuring cowboys. I loved the whole book. The atmosphere was intense. Men are now imprisoned like slaves. Sold and loaned as their owners please. Jake has been dreaming and hoping for his freedom. Back to days when men were not slaves. But now, those hopes are just dreams. Soon, he is taken to build a ranch for a woman, Monica. Monica isn’t like all the other women. Jake instantly takes a fancy to Monica and forgets his freedom. However, love, is forbidden. These two characters have been tested and tried physically, mentally, and emotionally. Jamie Schulz has created a world that swallow sup readers whole. I was immediately taken with this story. The novel takes freedom to a new level in many ways. Overall, I recommend this stunning yet steamy novel to all readers.
