Review:
Sugarplum Way by Debbie Mason is for all fans of romantic Hallmark films. This story is sweet, entertaining, and charming. The cast of characters made for an interesting read. I loved how the female protagonist got carried away with writing her romance tales. These tales were inspired by her crush. A crush who has no intention of having a relationship. Yet he can’t stop thinking about their very brief kiss. And neither can the leading lady.
I also liked the fact that, Julia Landon, loves Christmas time. Her obsession with Christmas is cute and a bit overwhelming. It made me smile. Julia Landon’s love life is non-existent. Something happened with her ex and now she’s a single lady. One who dreams of a particular sexy annoying man.
Aidan is a single father. His goal is to be everything his daughter needs. That means no other women in his life but his daughter. However, the one kiss he shared with a particular woman has him wondering. Could he have both?
Family, love, Christmas spirit and new beginnings are found here. I enjoyed following the characters as they failed and succeeded at things. Every page a dash of humor, intrigue, and heartfelt moments. I loved it.
