Rediscover the thrills and chills of this classic paranormal romantic suspense, book 2 in the Harrison Investigation series, by the queen of the genre, New York Times bestselling author Heather Graham.
Nikki DuMonde’s newest employee is standing at the end of her bed at four o’clock in the morning begging for help. It’s a joke, right? Besides, as manager of a successful New Orleans haunted-tour company, Nikki doesn’t scare easily. But in the light of day, harsh reality sets in as a police officer informs her that Andy was brutally murdered—at the exact time Nikki swears the distraught woman was in her room.
No one believes her except for Brent Blackhawk, a paranormal investigator desperately trying to forget his tragic past. Half Irish, half Lakota—and able to communicate with the dead—Brent is used to living in two worlds. But when he realizes the ghost of a slain government agent is also trying to reach out to Nikki, he knows that she, too, must listen to the dead…if she wants to keep living.

Ghost Walk by Heather Graham is the 2nd installment to the Harrison Investigation series. This book can be read as a standalone. I loved the suspense and intensity of the scenes. A woman ends up seeing her friend at the same time the police claimed she died. Nikki is puzzled and feeling insane. In fact, one of her friends keeps pushing her to see a doctor. But Nikki has a gut feeling it’s more than that. Then, as tings keep getting weirder and more deadly-a new guy pops up. That’s where agent, Brent, comes onto the scene. He is dark, tall, and mysterious. Nikki and Brent feel the pull between but they also share a unique talent-seeing and communicating with the dead. This story is well-written and entertaining from the start. Heather Graham knows how to write a well-crafted book. Her characters are unforgettable (some of these characters pop up in the Krewe Hunter Series-my favorite series!).
