Synopsis:
For almost a century, Ildaria Garcia has been on the run, a trouble magnet with a knack for taking down bad guys. Lately, her vigilante tendencies have drawn unwelcome attention to her fellow Immortals. Forced to relocate, Ildaria is supposed to lay low in a new town. Instead, she quickly entangles herself with six and a half feet of muscular, tattooed trouble.
Joshua James Simpson Guiscard, aka G.G., knows a lot about Immortals—enough to make him wary. Yet from the moment Ildaria walks into his club, he feels desire stronger than anything he’s known. Accepting the fact that they might be life mates is disconcerting. But when her past catches up to them, G.G. faces a choice—confront his demons at last, or lose a passion that’s hot as hell.

Review:
Immortal Angel by Lynsay Sands is exactly what I had hope for in a romantic suspense novel. This is not just your typical suspense read. It contains paranormal elements and a lot of humor. Those are Lynsay Sands trademarks in this Argeneau Vampire series. Humor, action-packed scenes and a hot sexy romance. This is the thirty-first book in the series that I have read. Not one of the books in this series was a bad read. Now, this particular release was just as amazing as the previous books.
G.G. is the tall, broad shouldered, handsome bartender for immortals. He is a mortal who knows about immortals like the Argeneau Vampires. His mom was turned by a life mate who was a vampire. So now, she too, is immortal. I loved how this story show cased how G.G. got to have his immortal bar. I enjoyed reading his backstory and getting to know him better as a character. In the previous books, he was featured and was a likable character. Now, he’s more than likable. He’s a strong, independent male, who is kind to everyone. A big heart made of gold. Plus, he has the cutest furriest dog ever. The dog follows his life mate everywhere. A life mate who happens to be immortal. G.G. experienced his mom’s turning and it was something that made him never want to become one. However, after meeting Angel, he wants and needs her in his life. But then an unseen enemy pops up and has G.G. seeing red. That’s all it takes for G.G.-to start thinking of his Angel woman with another immortal man…and he’s game.
Angel has had a hard life growing up. From her mom being the reckless mother to being raped by an immortal man. Then, changing into an immortal herself, Angel has never had it easy. She is a magnet for trouble. The head vampire, Lucien, forces her to change her classes to keep her out of trouble. Only she bumps into a meeting with G.G. and from there her life changes again. Angel is a strong woman. She does not want things handed to her. She has to work for them. Plus, she loves animals and is just as caring as G.G. is.
Overall, I fell hard and fast for these characters. I enjoyed following the former characters from previous novels as well. The big family dynamic works well in this series. They all guard each other. It’s fun, engaging, and hot as hell. Lynsay Sands has once again delivered a masterpiece for this series.
