Review:

A Highlander is Coming to Town by Laura Trentham is a sweet romance. The heroine is struggling her way through life more so than her hot hero. There’s an instant attraction towards and yet she runs away with her tail tucked between her legs. Claire is determined to make it through life on her own without any help. Especially, from a sexy Scott like Holt. Holt scares her. He’s not scary but the reaction he causes within her scares her away from him. Claire doesn’t want complications and Holt would definitely become one. Holt is a great hero. He too has his struggles. However, he holds up better than Claire does. I liked the way he came to her aide despite her brush off mannerisms. Most men would walk away with her rudeness. Overall, the story was character driven, fun, and entertaining. It was a good contemporary romance feature Highlanders.
