Review:

It Started with Christmas by Jenny Hale is a novel full of humor, heart, and romance. I loved the family and second chance themes. I also enjoyed following as Holly took care of her Nana and tried to make things easy going in the cabin. When Holly and her Nana arrive to spend Christmas at their family cabin, they didn’t expect to have a visitor. Joe is a renter who should have been gone by now. But due to his canceled trip back home and to the weather, he was stuck living in the cabin longer than owners of the rental cabin thought. With zero cell phone reception none them had any idea. This was a Christmas filled with surprises. Some were hilarious, some were sweet, and some were intense…I was sure what the ending was going to hold for them all. But it was the best! I love Jenny Hale’s storytelling skills. They are superb! I was laughing, crying, and rooting for all the characters. Overall, this was a clean and sweet contemporary romance novel.
