Crown princess. Clever spy. Powerful mind magier. Gemma Ripley of Andvari is all those things–and determined to stop an enemy from using magical tearstone weapons to conquer her kingdom.
Gemma’s quest for answers leads her to a trade Summit between the various kingdoms. Among the other royals in attendance is Queen Maeven Morricone of Morta and her son, Prince Leonidas–Gemma’s charming and dangerous nemesis.
Gemma knows that Maeven always has a long game in motion, and sure enough, the cunning queen invokes an arcane tradition that threatens the fragile truce between Andvari and the other kingdoms. Despite her best intentions, Gemma once again finds herself thrown together with Leo and battling her growing feelings for the enemy prince.
When a series of deadly attacks shatters the Summit’s peaceful negotiations, Gemma realizes that someone wants to tear the royals down from their thrones–and that this enemy just might succeed.

Review:
Jennifer Estep is a bestselling writer for a reason. Her books are phenomenal. The characters are funny as hell, intriguing, and their own charm that worms its way into the heart. I loved the enemies-to-lovers theme. To be honest, I was not sure if that was ever going to happen, but it did. I am so very happy. I have not read the first book in this series. I was able to follow along and understand everything. The scenes were action-packed. A wide variety of characters made this a must have for me. I enjoyed every character against each other vibe. The tone of survival hanging onto a single thread. It all depended on who was behind everything. Betrayal beyond betrayal. So many layers to peel and then, everything made so much sense. There is the doom that hangs over the characters’ heads as the events spiral out of control. Somebody is going to die, to pay, and someone will rise above everything. I absolutely enjoyed the dramatic flair. There are still so many unknown ways this series could end and yet it will all tie down to what this talented writer decides. Tear Down the Throne is an epic fantasy romance novel that I highly recommend to all. Royals, danger, magic, mayhem, and romance all in one fantastic book.
