Review: Churchill’s Secret Messenger

Review:

Churchill’s Secret Messenger by Alan Hlad is phenomenal story. It is both heartbreaking and beautiful. Alan Hlad writes so well, I easily was lost within his book. The story features both protagonists who lost their families due to the war. Now, they both give everything they have to help the resistance. In doing so, they too, are in danger. One ended up in a concentration camp and the other was seriously injured. Yet, somehow, they meet after the war is over and reconnect. The emotional journey is epic. I fell hard for these characters and their stories. Overall, I recommend this to all fans of historical fiction and of an unforgettable love story.
