Review: The Criminalist

“CSI–Without the makeup.”
A Russian model and a reluctant forensic scientist must join forces to fight a dangerous sex trafficking ring.
Paul Connert, just your everyday forensic scientist, keeps a dark secret as he combs through scenes of violent death. Then his world is rocked by the beautiful and desperate Vika Koslava, a Russian model who arrived in the US with her sister for an erotic photo shoot. When the sister disappears, he must join forces with Vika and use all his skills to stop a deadly sex trafficking ring before she meets a similar fate. The Criminalist is the story of forensic science at its best, and it’s all about teamwork, but can everyone on Paul’s team be trusted?
It’s been five years since PAUL CONNERT’S fiancEe died of a drug overdose and he’s never forgiven himself for not trying harder to help. Now he plans to atone. He seeks a woman who reminds him of his lost love and fantasizes about getting her into rehab, even if by force. But then he meets the feisty, alcoholic, VIKA KOSLAVA, a beautiful Russian model who was sent on an erotic website assignment to Santa Barbara with her heroin-addicted sister. When her sister goes missing, Vika is left homeless. Paul uses a clever means to meet Vika, but his intervention fantasy is quickly busted when he meets her, face-to-face.
Paul and his crime lab friends join forces to protect Vika by enrolling her in a secret clinical trial but also continue the search for her sister. We follow Paul and Vika as they go through their daily routines: Paul as he processes a murder scene, Vika as she is exposed to experimental nanoparticles as a part of her addiction therapy. When they get together and form a powerful alliance to fight the violent members of a sex trafficking ring, he will need to use all his scientific skills to keep her safe.
The Author says, “When I retired from a twenty-five year career as a forensic scientist in southern California, I took home a treasure-trove of story ideas. I’ve been there, I’ve collected that and I’ve weathered the subsequent cross-examination, too. When I cooked up The Criminalist, I wanted readers to feel what it was really like to work in a crime lab. I drew from the colorful personalities I had worked with and blended in scenes from real-life cases. The story includes several strong female leads and a plausible, suspenseful plot. There are a few graphic (but not gory) crime scenes and a dash of courtroom drama. Running throughout is an engaging, romantic thread.”

John Houde, author of the award-winning nonfiction book, Crime Lab: A Guide for Nonscientists, has had a career in forensic science spanning four decades. Now he draws upon his experience to spin an intricately woven adventure in the world of truth and lies, love and hate, science and crime…

Rating: 4.5-stars

The Criminalist by John Houde is an interesting crime novel. Forensic science lovers like myself will enjoy this read. Similar to CSI Criminal Minds this novel demonstrates forensic science in a realistic setting. The suspense builds up as I progressed through the pages. The plot was exciting. Crime, drugs, and a disappearance that kept me intrigued. I liked the forensic scientist, Paul Connert. He is a likable character. It is his duty to investigate the case of her missing sister. Intense, frightening, and very believable. John Houde has created a tale that sent me straight into the book. I was hooked. Visa is another main character, that I liked. Her personality is great. The book brought issues like drugs and sex trafficking out in the open. Overall, it stunning, and I recommend it.

Review: Love in the Deep South

Meet the young and beautiful Laydii Mitchell from Memphis TN. An 18-year-old high school senior on her way to college, and seems to think she is on top of the world. She’s dating the up and coming hustler, John Jackson; who is loved by the ladies, and hated by most guys. The two seem to think that their bond is unbreakable, that is; until something happens that rocks the both of their worlds. Will they be able to remain that “forever it” couple, and continue to stand above all, or will life’s hard knocks finally bring them to their knees?
— Keya Harris, is Laydii’s best friend, who can’t seem to stop her cheating boyfriend Samuel White, from sticking his penis in places it doesn’t belong. She fights with any and everybody to remain that number one lady in his life, only for him to disregard her efforts; by hitting a little too close to home with his cheating ways. Will this couple be able to rise above all obstacles and come out on top, or will Keya finally get fed up with the bull, and decide to leave.
—- Aaron Thomas is the man to see. He started out hustling at the tender age of 15, and is now headed on his way to the top at just 24. In his young life, he’s seen more money than he knows what to do with; which makes him a hot commodity for the ladies. However, he isn’t checking for the local “gold diggers,” as he is well aware of their intentions of getting with him for his money. His focus lies elsewhere; on one particular female that is seemingly “unavailable. Will Aaron finally be able to get the woman he has been “vying” for, and finally have his happily ever after?
—- Toni Simpson is Laydii’s younger fifteen-year-old sister. She is young and carefree, as most girls are at that age. However, she’s more than just your typical teenager, as she so badly wants to be grown and take on the world way before her time. Unaware of the ill intentions of those surrounding her; she goes and gets herself into a situation that even she’s not so sure she can get out of. Will Toni be able to return to that once carefree teen, or will fatal circumstances force her to grow up before she is really ready.
With drugs, lies, sex, murder and betrayal; many will be left devastated, and trying to find their way out of this twisted web of chaos. Ride along with these characters, as they take you on a journey around the dirty south city of “Memphis.”

Rating: 4.5-stars

Love in the Deep South (A Memphis Hood Tale) is a wonderful novel detailing the lives of those who live in Memphis. The language was beautifully done. The charcaters were believable. I felt as though the writer, N.L. Hudson, transported me from my seat straight into her book. Once inside, the drama was thick, entertaining, and well-told. However, the content is graphic and recommended for those 18 and above. Sex, drugs, and murder inside….overall, I recommend this African American novel to readers everywhere.

Review: Knight Takes Pawn (Happy Release Day!)

Knight Takes Pawn by Martha Sweeney is her 5th novel. I have read everything published by this talented woman. Unlike her previous fictional worlds, Knight Takes Pawn heads in a new genre direction. This one is a psychological thriller. All previous books were contemporary romance. I can honestly say, that Martha Sweeney has a knack for writing the best reads. Whether they are short or full-length novels.  Instantly, I was intrigued wondering how this writer was going to do with her new direction. But I was amazed once again. She totally blew me out of this world and deeeply into her new one. Thrilling, engaging, and dark. Knight Takes Pawn is a must read for all.

Inside this latest book, Knight Takes Pawn, Martha Sweeney take us, readers to a new place. Themes like slavery, cruelty, and trust are incorporated throughout the piece. Trust is greatly lacking due to the spies. Martha Sweeney has created a world that no one can trust someone else. If trust is placed in the wrong person…everything is lost. Gone forever. Death hangs in the air. The suspense of what is to come on every page will leave readers on the edge of their seats. Absolutely, a compelling yet frightening read. One woman is tired of what happens to her and fights back. I love the daring, and boldness of the characters. Evil versus good. I was addicted from beginning to end. Overall, I highly recommend Knight Takes Pawn to readers worldwide.

Review: Pain-Killer

Blythe is intrigued. It would seem that her escapades into darkness are being watched. A painting, a very personal painting, has arrived in her gallery and the artist seems to know more than she should. A very unforgettable night leads her to realize that her plight into another world that devours flesh and punishes men will not be an easy one. Or will it?

Rating: 5 stars

Pain-Killer by Kindra Sowder is out of this world. A talented new writer who leaves readers hanging onto every one of her words. Once the book is opened, readers are led into a fast-paced, dark yet edgy world. Horror, blood, and nightmares. The action is plentiful and it seems the pages go by faster than readers think. This novella is part two of the Miss Hyde series. A young sexy woman who has both a good and a bad side. The bad side is one that men never come back to talk about…relationships no matter what kind are scary enough. Imagine dating someone or having a one night stand only then to be drugged, chained up, and murdered by a psychopath. Will the terror ever stop or will the killing continue to climb higher yet? Kindra Sowder’s writing is once more superb as always. I was immediately taken in by her leading female character. I highly recommend reading Pain-Killer during daylight hours. This tale will leave shivers down readers’ spines and a chill that doesn’t disappear. Overall, this is a must read for all.

Review: This Too Shall Pass

Surrounded by those she loves most, she spends the summer in an impossibly beautiful place, finding ways to reconnect and understand what it means to truly, happily live on her own terms, just as her mother would have wanted

Rating: 4.5 Stars

This Too Shall Pass by Milena Busquets is a deep emotional journey. Readers like myself won’t ever forget it. Milena Busquets brought me to Spain. A place where the events were happening. This was a tale of a forty-year-old woman who has just lost her mother. The daughter is speaking about her life and journey to her dead mother. The shock and sadness that the main character felt and thought became my own feelings. The point of view from the daughter was interesting. I found myself lost in this woman’s despair, discovery, and life. Lots of sex within this read. I enjoyed reading this summer novel. It was definitely a refreshing story from what I have read in the past. The tale is about love and loss. Deep, thoughtful, and complicated. The scenes played before me…but it was like getting tiny glimpses into the forty-year-old woman’s life. I wished it went deeper into how she felt when she did have sex or what made her happy…every other book I have read there was at least one thing that made the main characters happy. Maybe, in this tale, it was Blanca’s mother that made her happy. Once her mother died, it was like everything didn’t have any meaning…Overall, I recommend this novel to all. It definitely has kept me guessing.

The Duke of Golden of Golden Shire by Nicole Strycharz is one phenomenal read. Talk about wow…Instantly, readers are plunged deep into the plot…and straight into the characters shoes. I cried, laughed, blushed and felt frustrated in more ways than one. Readers will need a tissue box for this remarkable story. I couldn’t stop reading once I opened up the book. The heat, hot sex, and emotional journey, was a million times that of any other novel I have ever read.  Those most talked about movies that move the audience in ways that you can’t stop thinking about them…well, The Duke of Golden Shire is exactly that. I finished it in one night and haven’t stopped thinking about it since then…Nicole Strycharz is beyond talented. Her words pull readers in and then wrap a tight vine around them and keep them prisoner until the ending. OMG! The ending…I can’t say too much without spoiling it…but readers will be on hands and knees beginning for the next brilliant adventure. This was masterfully woven for all readers’ entertainment and I highly recommend it to readers worldwide.  I know for a fact that I simply can’t get enough of Nicole Strycharz’s writing…her characters will blow readers away.

Review: All Summer Long

All Summer Long follows one charming New York couple – prominent interior designer Olivia Ritchie and her husband Nicholas Seymour, an English professor and true southern gentleman.  They are seemingly polar opposites, yet magnetically drawn together and in love for more than fourteen years.

As they prepare to relocate to Charleston, S.C., Olivia, the ultimate New Yorker, has reservations about the promise she made to retire in the Lowcountry, where Nick wants to return home and lead a more peaceful life.  They are moving north to south, fast pace versus slow pace and downsizing.  Nick is ecstatic.  Olivia is not.   She can’t let Nick know that their finances are not what he thought.   Her client list is evaporating, their monetary reserves are dwindling and maybe that house she picked out on Sullivans Island needs too much work.  Thank God, for her assistant, Roni Larini, her right (and sometimes left) hand.

As they find themselves pondering the next step of their lives, Olivia and Nick travel with her billionaire clients and their friends and are swept up into the world of the ultra-rich and explore the globe with a cast of zany eccentrics over one tumultuous, hot summer. All as Olivia grapples with what lies ahead for her and Nick.

This is a story of how plans evolve and lives change in unexpected ways, how even those who have everything are still looking for something more.  Even the most successful people can often struggle to keep things together.  All Summer Long asks the ultimate question: can money buy happiness?  From Sullivans Island to Necker Island to Nantucket to the beaches of Southern Spain, we’ll come to recognize the many faces of true love, love that deepens and endures but only because one woman makes a tremendous leap of faith. And that leap changes everything.

Rating: 4 stars

All Summer Long by Dorothea Benton Frank is a truly a thoughtful novel. One that takes readers on a journey of finding what they really want and need in life. Marriage is not easy but it takes courage, sacrifices, and love. A woman and her husband get to take a vacation and it’s on this vacation she gets to think about everything. Maybe her marriage is okay and will survive no matter what is happening with her work and career. Marriage, after all, is for better or worse, rich or poor. All Summer Long is an exploration and deep thinking that leaves readers wondering what will happen next. Dorothea Benton Frank portrays the life of a wife and husband beautifully in this tale. I found the beginning a bit slow for my taste but once I moved past that…the plot was steady. Overall, I enjoyed the sneak peek into these characters lives and recommend it to all.

Review: Even Odds

Geeky meets kinky in this first deliciously sexy novel in the Slices of Pi series by RITA-nominated author Elia Winters, which follows the romantic rendezvous of the employees at PI Games, a gaming company based out of sultry Florida.

As a design manager at PI Games, Isabel Suarez is no stranger to the struggles of being a woman in a male-dominated industry. But when her team attends a gaming convention on the other side of the country, she figures there’s no harm in putting aside her professional demeanor for one weekend to participate in a risqué scavenger hunt. Why shouldn’t she let loose and have a little fun?

A careless romp soon turns into more, however, when Isabel ends up having a fling with Caleb Portland, an artist, and animator, without knowing he has just been hired to partner with her at her company—and Caleb can’t bring himself to tell her. When they end up coworkers a few weeks later, they need to find a way to work together and keep things strictly professional. Caleb doesn’t want to take on a relationship and risk failure. Isabel doesn’t want to risk ruining the professional reputation she’s worked so hard to develop. But when faced with the undeniable sizzling chemistry between them, will either of them be able to resist temptation?

A sexy and witty tale of romance and modern workplace politics, Even Odds is the latest winning entry in Elia Winters’ unique and well-loved erotic novels.

Rating: 5 stars

Even Odds by Elia Winters is absolutely a must read for all. This is one geeky romance that will keep readers laughing and falling in love with the characters. The female character, Isabel, is the only female working in an all male dominated area. Game software. She designs games and is now in the manager position. Before moving to the PI Games she worked at another company. A company where she experienced a disastrous relationship which then lead to sexual harassment. The sad part was that the Human Resource person told her that words weren’t much of a harassment and that they wouldn’t take her complaints seriously. Isabel ended up taking action that suited the company better than helping solve her issues at work. This past life experience has left her feeling like an ice queen at work. Acting as sexless as possible to survive working in the gaming industry surrounded by all men. An area that showed me that was hard for any woman including Isabel to be taken seriously by men as a professional. Her hard work pays off…but there’s one employee who makes her uncomfortable…will she face up to him or let him continue his harassments against her? The other part to this exciting tale was the trip to DiceCon and that’s where everything heats up…Isabel wants to let loose for once and three of her teammates get her in on a game that has her meeting the one man that might just be a forever thing…a man that can not only make her feel like a woman but also respect her in the industry. That combination alone would make any woman’s knees go weak. Isabel and Caleb are a perfect couple. Their journey was realistic and believable. The pages got hotter with every turn….and the plot sets readers on the edge of their seats wondering what comes next.  Even Odds by Elia Winters is by overall, a hot and brilliantly well-written geeky romance that all will enjoy. I highly recommend this novel to readers everywhere.

Review: The A to Z of You and Me

A striking literary debut of love and mortality, The A to Z of You and Me is the story of a man who doesn’t have much time, his love for a girl who isn’t there, and the game he plays while waiting that illuminates the devastating and beautiful turns of life. The A-Z game. For Ivo, it’s a way to pass the time, a way to avoid the pain and a way to think about what really got him here. His hospice nurse suggested it – think of a body part for each letter, and think of memories connected to each one. And so begins the revealing of his misspent life: the terrible teenage choices, friendships made and cracked, the love he’ll never get back. He remembers the girl who tried to help him, the friend who wouldn’t let her, and the sickness that chases him even now.

Rating: 4.5 stars

The A to Z of You and Me by James Hannah is a journey that sucks me in whole and keeps me turning the pages. Ivo is just a regular everyday kind of man. He fell into the wrong crowd, did stuff that he wasn’t proud of, and lost a chance at love. Now, as an elderly man, in a hospice, he knows his life is short. A nurse has him go through an exercise using every letter of the alphabet to come up with a story or a life memory attached to each letter. As Ivo goes through the alphabet, I got to travel through snippets of his younger self. Ivo lost his father to cancer, he experienced both bad and good days during his younger life. I enjoyed following the person he was back then and the man he has become. He knows what he did wrong and wants to make things better. He’s a little afraid, but soon…he finds some peace and love in the end. I truly enjoyed this talented writer’s style and the well-written plot. The characters were well-developed and were able to drag me into the scenes as though I were experiencing it all for real. The A to Z of You and Me by James Hannah is definitely a literary novel that I would recommend to all.

Review: A Dangerous Love

I’m the local sheriff of a small Montana town. Blue is the owner of the local pub. We have a great friendship, but I’m starting to want more. I’m not sure when Blue had become so important to me, or when I started to see her in a light other than friendship. All I know is that I want her, badly. She’s a little hesitant, at first, to get involved, but I finally convince her to go out on a ‘real’ date with me.

Soon after our initial date, she starts getting harassed and threatened. Her pub is even set on fire. Someone is after her, and we don’t know who or why, but it definitely has something to do with her involvement with me. Will our new, budding relationship survive the turmoil and danger?

Rating: 5 stars

A Dangerous Love by G.J. Cox is superb. I was immediately taken into the life of one very sexy sheriff whose beyond wealthy and a sassy lady who owns a bar. Both of these characters with their personalities, love, and life troubles had me intrigued.  Their instant hot chemistry filled the pages. Both are so crazy about each other and when they suddenly let it all out…the heat burns up…like a one-hundred-degree summer day. Jealousy, danger, and a hot romance all are on the line in this magnificent title by G.J. Cox. This was the first of her novels that I have ever read…and I was blown away by the compelling plotline and the irresistible characters. The story was fast-paced, steamy, and suspenseful. If it’s not one dangerous thing…it’s another…and the two characters…both Blue and her sheriff lover may lose each other if the criminal or criminals are not caught soon. A Dangerous Love is addictive, highly entertaining, and overall a must read for readers everywhere. I highly recommend this romance to all.

Review: Scoring with Sir

A teacher with secrets meets her strict Sir match. Izzy earns hot bedroom lessons but scoring as Sir’s mistress brings red cards and penalties.

Teacher and football fan turned secret erotica author Izzy Tennant needs full-on steam scenes and real-life experience for her debut novel. Ex-premier league footballer now PE head Will Darby has the moves but his sports pedigree causes friction. Their sass threatens a lust volcano or an ugly fistfight. The sensual tension builds to an inferno when they re-enact erotica scenes at his player mansion.

Scoring items on her X-rated kink list, provides Izzy with bestseller spice. But how will her Penalty Master take the revelation that he’s just research? And how will Izzy handle the news that Will’s keeping secrets of his own? Falling for her sex mentor and craving his extreme play wasn’t part of the bonkbuster plan. Nor was reliving past hurts in action replay.

Scoring with Sir is a contemporary romantic erotic comedy with a Glee setting, a Dom/sub secret, a football crazy heroine and an A-list football star hero. Banter and bedroom action guaranteed and fantasies scored in memorable style.

Rating: 5 stars

Scoring with Sir by Judy Jarvie is a hilarious sweet tale that features both sports and romance all perfectly wrapped up into one stunning novel. Readers who love a bit of erotica, spontaneity and adventure will surely fall in love with this new title. Judy Jarvie brings readers a laugh-out-loud story that will keep readers sucked in until the last page. Her main character, Izzy, is an English teacher by day and an erotic book club leader by night. So far, not one man has had her body in heat…until she meets the sexy, hot, and frustrating new Physical Education teacher, Darby. He has her wanting hot sex every time she’s near him.  Judy Jarvie’s writing is one that hooks readers and keeps them intrigued. The characters are so believable, I can’t believe that it’s just fiction. Izzy is just like any other real woman with wants and needs that need feeling… the only question is…is Darby the man to fulfill all her fantasies? Overall, I loved reading this romantic comedy and look forward to reading more by this talented writer. I highly recommend Scoring with Sir to readers worldwide.

Review: Jazz Moon (A Novel)

In a lyrical, captivating debut set against the backdrop of the Harlem Renaissance and glittering Jazz Age Paris, Joe Okonkwo creates an evocative story of emotional and artistic awakening.

On a sweltering summer night in 1925, beauties in beaded dresses mingle with hepcats in dapper suits on the streets of Harlem. The air is thick with reefer smoke, and jazz pours out of speakeasy doorways. Ben Charles and his devoted wife, Angeline, are among the locals crammed into a basement club to hear jazz and drink bootleg liquor. For the aspiring poet, Ben, the swirling, heady rhythms are a revelation. So is Baby Back Johnston, an ambitious trumpet player who flashes a devilish grin and blasts jazz dynamite from his horn. Ben finds himself drawn to the trumpeter—and to Paris where Baby Back says everything is happening.

In Paris, jazz and champagne flow eternally, and blacks are welcomed as exotic celebrities, especially those from Harlem. It’s an easy life that quickly leaves Ben adrift and alone, craving solace through anonymous dalliances in the city’s decadent underground scene. From chic Parisian cafés to seedy opium dens, his odyssey will bring new love, trials, and heartache, even as echoes from the past urge him to decide where true fulfillment and inspiration lie.

Rating: 5 stars

Jazz Moon by Joe Okonkwo will make readers question everything they read and feel. Nothing like a novel about jazz that brings out the poetic side to everyone especially the characters. A debut novel that brings, to life, the action, drama, and passion of 1925. Times where everything beckoned and called to those who hearts wanted more. Inside this title, readers will get a glimpse into a poet’s lifestyle. He has a devoted wife but is angry with her…he soon find himself attracted to another who brings out the heat of raw animalistic desire deep within his blood. A stirring unlike any other. Paris is a place where art, passion, and desire come in abundance and that’s where both Ben and his new lover find themselves. Joe Okonkwo brings readers the best world of fiction readers will find. Race, jazz, and travel are deep topics easily explored within this exciting well-written plot. Overall, I highly recommend this new novel, Jazz Moon, to readers everywhere.

Review: Shoe Fetish (book 2)

These three friends continue to find their way through life, love, and its relationships transferring all power and emotions via their shoes, which hold secrets. Some harmless and some deadly; and, though Carmen is untrusting of men and their secrets, she has a few deadly secrets of her own. Women love their shoes for varied reasons. Shoes are not only for protection, beauty, and sex; but, for the life that they can transcend you to, and the secrets that may not have been shared with another person are sometimes within the soles of the shoes.

Rating: 5 stars

Inside Shoe Fetish 2, readers will get a glimpse into three women’s lives. Friends who have to go about their life journey finding their way through it all. Romance, shoes, men, and everyday life struggles all part of growing up and learning how to balance. I love how both writers, Sharon Bennett, and Beatrice Moore have bought out a woman’s love of shoes and men into a beautifully woven story that will capture readers everywhere. Going through men is exactly like trying on a pair of shoes, to see, if they fit. Women’s shoes can tell you exactly how she’s feeling…because they bring out certain sides to each and every woman. It’s like dying one’s hair or putting on a particular shade of lipstick. We all have those inner dark secrets that make us who we are.  The tight-knit group of friends helps each woman go through each step of her journey. The ending is just as beautiful as they beginning. I loved reading this tale and following each woman as she changed throughout the book. I  think this portrays a realistic side of women and men in relationships that makes it easy for readers everywhere to connect to…as well as to enjoy. Overall, I highly recommend Shoe Fetish 2 to readers worldwide.

Recently divorced, 40-something single-mom, Lucy, is lonely, bored and craving physical connection. So, when her trusted long-time married friend, Nancy, begs Lucy to sleep with her husband to save her marriage, Lucy goes for it. It’s such a success, the two friends invent a town-wide underground barter system whereby Nancy’s married girlfriends sub-contract Lucy’s divorcee friends to sleep with their husbands so they don’t have to as often. It’s a win, win, win- for a while. Then it all goes to hell in a hand-basket.

Laugh-out-loud funny, emotionally provocative and at times racy, Nookietown is a story of risk-taking, marriage, honesty and desire, and what one woman rationalizes in order to get what she wants.

Rating: 5 stars

NOOKIETOWN by V.C. Chickering is indeed one realistic yet funny read that readers worldwide can easily enjoy. Readers are introduced to a group of women made up of two sides. The married women and the divorcees. Both come together in this quirky tale that shows the real ups and downs of every marriage. Men want sex. Women want a life and great sex. But when one is married sex life gets complicated. Men are horny and women are picky on when, where, and how they want the sex to be. It’s crazy, insane, but shows a part of life that readers know exists today. Maybe not a group of friends that come up with a silly scheme like contracting their husbands out to their women friends…because we all know sex is complicated. There are no black and white versions. It’s messy, emotional, and dirty. By dirty…I mean both sides play dirty. A woman gets pregnant from having sex with her friend’s husbands…but who the father is…is a mystery. She always wanted to have a baby and maybe she just might get what she asked for…however, everything else will get sticky when it involves her friends and their husbands.  V.C. Chickering masterfully writes a comedy that deals with consenting adults and the marriage life. Funny, addictive, and well-written. Overall, NOOKIETOWN is easy to relate to and to get lost within its page. I look forward to reading more by this talented writer and highly recommend this novel to readers everywhere.

Eva Raines is an uncomplicated country girl who’s all about food. The Beauty and the Feast by J.R. Barret is a highly entertaining romance. It’s hot, sexy, and funny sweet. This was the first novel I have read by this talented individual. The characters were fun to read about and follow along with as the plot developed. Readers will be enticed with this title from the first page and onward. Food, culture, and amazing travel readers will get to taste and view when reading this brilliant novel. I found myself completely lost as I read this story. It was like I was right there watching and engaging in the exciting scenes around me. The smells were so vivid that I found myself almost tasting the delicious meals prepared by the main character. She is beautiful, smart, and fun.

J.R Barret’s novel is steady paced and well-written. Once readers open it up to read it won’t be put down until they read the last page. Inside The Beauty and the Feast, readers are taken into a kitchen where we find our main character cooking and then being hosed down by a horny teenage boy. A horny teenage boy that she has to babysit for her boss. He takes great pleasure in soaking her shirts until they are transparent..then leaves grinning like a cashmere cat in Alice of Wonderland. Readers will be intrigued by Eva whose cooking skills will make anyone’s mouth water…especially that of a hot sexy man who heats up her dreams. Gabe is soon led to Eva and unlike most romances..this woman has a lot more than looks that attract a red-blooded male like him. But what fate holds in store for them both is one, readers must find out on their own. I absolutely loved reading this title..the cover and name of the book fit in perfectly with the story and its characters. Spicy, sensual, and masterfully woven, The Beauty and the Feast, is definitely a must read for all.

Review: Just A Number

Not looking for love.

No details.

Follow rules and restrictions.

Only fun. No feelings.

Forever–not an option.

Simple Flings.

They were all just a number.

Dash Oliver and Willow Dane both shared the same philosophy.

That is, until a merger of sorts.

Thrown together by fate or serendipity, was their connection… their chemistry… their compatibility enough to convince them that their rules were made to be broken and that they belonged together?

Just A Number by Fifi Flowers is extraordinary! Her romance automatically pulls readers into her plot and sends them onto the characters journey of a once in a lifetime kind of romance. I loved how beautifully written this story was. Readers will be blown away by both characters view points on what is happening and how they each deal with the attraction. Crazy, insane, and sexy – is exactly what Fifi Flowers brings to her readers. Love is nothing but a hot tangled mess and that’s where both her characters are. A hot mess that neither of them can shake off…This romance was the first that I have read by Fifi Flowers and I highly recommend it to readers worldwide. Addictive, emotional, and highly entertaining novel – Just A Number is indeed a must read for all.

Alexandria becomes ‘Catherine’ a high-end escort with a beautiful laugh who finds the goodness and attractiveness in all men, falling in love with all of her clients just a little. By accepting these men and seeing the goodness in them, she pleases these men in many ways. Is it possible by pleasing others maybe Alexandria/Catherine can find her true self and find happiness?

My Rating: 5 stars

My Review:

The Moral Line by Vanessa Bogenholm is one journey readers won’t ever forget. A woman who loves her husband and loves being intimate with him…then to lose it all. Her life then spirals into an unknown place. How will she survive? Then life takes an interesting route and she finds a way to keep her feet firmly on the ground and her head up. Catering to men to support one’s self is a risky business. It can be challenging and difficult. Especially, when some men attract one’s heart to them. Lines can be blurred. Hearts can be worn out until there’s nothing left.

The Moral Line shows readers an inside glimpse into love’s good and bad sides. Readers especially women will see the fragile side of men. Men can be violent and cruel. Sometimes bitter and this can change a woman. A woman just like Alexandria. At first love was good then went sour. This story is one adventure that will leave readers breathless and intrigued. Every page will lure readers deeper into its irresistible plot. The one remarkable strong going woman like Alexandria give women hope. Hope that they can carry on when life gives them lemons. Overall, I highly recommend this well-written story to readers everywhere.  Vanessa Bogenholm is a talented writer whose words can persuade any reader to her fictional masterpiece.

Review: Jack of All Trades

It seems a dream job for Jack, a small builder in Forest Gate, when he gets the job to repair the summerhouse of a millionaire couple in Chigwell. The two months work will pay his debts, and give him space to sort out his personal demons. Except, the couple are at war, both having affairs, their marriage beyond salvage. The husband fires Jack, she takes him back on – and suddenly he is too involved with their scheming. Complicated further when he falls for her secretary. And when there’s a murder, using his tools as the weapon, Jack is prime suspect.

My Rating: 5 stars

My Review:

Jack of All Trades by DH Smith is an intriguing tale full of drama and excitement. This is the first novel, that I have read by DH Smith. Readers will definitely find enough action to keep them glued to the pages. There are times, when readers will think something is about to happen and then doesn’t due to another character popping on scene. Then there’s  a romance that is dead and the sole cause of trouble.  Next, there’s one man doing his best, with his failed marriage and staying away from one sin. Mystery, suspense, and murder can all be found in this brilliantly well-written novel. For fans of Clue and of Agatha Christie’s novels, this is a must read.

DH Smith has masterfully woven many lives together in this stunning novel. Jack of All Trades fits perfectly with the overall story. A man, who starts his own business, is soon doing work that might be the end of him. Jack of All Trades…is exactly that. Jack finds himself doing major work for a couple. Stuff that goes out of his comfort zone and yet he agrees. Money is definitely worth what they ask for until it goes too far. Exactly how far his employers will go and in what direction will be for readers to discover. Not only that but readers will see the inner workings of a nasty affair, a man being beaten almost to a pulp, and an innocent man being framed. Readers will feel like they are there experiencing the scenes first hand. DH Smith has masterfully created a way to lure readers.  Readers will easily connect so deeply with the characters. The conflicts are plentiful and the suspense hangs thickly in the air. Overall, I highly recommend reading, Jack of All Trades to readers everywhere.

Book Review: The Forbidden Man by Elle Wright

The Forbidden Man is one amazing romance novel that captures the realistic story of one woman who choose the wrong man. Sydney Williams’s fiance the wrong man. Her fiance turned into a man that was completely opposite from the man he is now. Den is the kind of man who begs his woman to stay with him when he keeps going behind her back and sleeps with other women. Sydney and Den’s brother always made up excuses for Den but not anymore. Den’s brother Morgan has always loved Sydney but because she’s with his brother Den, he won’t go near her romantically. But as Den screws up for the last time,  Morgan just might be able to have Sydney as his woman. But how will that affect his relationship with his brother and the family who kindly took him in as their own?
Elle Wright’s novel, The Forbidden Man, is one fantastic read. Romance at it’s finest. Humor, drama, and enough heat to keep readers lured in until the end. The ending itself will leave readers with a need to read more by this talented mastermind, Elle Wright. Her words are perfect and her characters are believable. Book Review: Jagged Addiction by Lashell Collins

Jagged Addiction (Jagged Ivory Series Book 3)

Jagged Addiction is the third amazing novel in the Jagged Ivory Series by Lashell Collins. Her talent is easily recognizable when you start reading page one of nay of her novels. Each novel contains a special story featured on a selective rock star band mate and the woman that comes crashing into his life. All it takes is for one special woman to tilt the band mate’s world upside down. There is nothing simple about the raw romantic attraction and that deep gut feeling called love. This time, loves comes gently tapping on the shoulder of the jagged Ivory band mates. Can he find his way about or will everything go crazy?

OMG. I cannot stress just how stunning this story is. Lashell Collins has done it again for the third time. Her romance writing is a huge hit. Almost as famous as her characters rock band. Jagged Addiction is just like it sounds. One of the Jagged Ivory band mates is going through a bad time. While on tour he goes into a bathroom and his other mate has to go find help. Soon band mate, Benji Staffon is dying from an over dose until one of his band mates, Noah Ivory, uses CPR to help Benji. Next, the ambulance comes and takes Benji away to a hospital and in the mean time, Noah and the rest were told if that if the CPR wasn’t performed right when Noah did it, that Benji would have died and been lost forever.

Noah and the rest of the team are shocked at the realization and come to a pact to help Benji recover. Benji goes through rehab while his band mates continue to tour. But they are there if Benji needs them. Benji goes through with the fear of almost dying. The has the fear of cleaning up come faster than Benji thinks. Soon he’s released back out of rehab and is worried about all the what-ifs. Will he manage to stay clean? Can he still play? All this goes on while Benji meets his new tech. A tech that happens to be a super hot girl who loves graphic novels and is scared of scary movies. Her life hood when she grew up is similar to that of Benji’s and somehow he feels connected to her. But, what he doesn’t realize is that a recovering addict can still stay clean and fall in love at the same time.

Overall, I highly recommend reading this brilliant series by Lashell Collins. Her novels are a must read for everyone. An adult romance that will be addictive and captivating as readers continue to follow the Jagged Ivory band and their obstacles along the way. I fell in love with this writer work and know for a fact everyone else will too. Book Review: Jagged Hearts by Lashell Collins

Jagged Hearts (Jagged Ivory Series Book 1)

Jagged Hearts is the first perfect installment to a great new romance series. Readers will be wowed from the first page like I was. I choose this novel, because the story’s synopsis aught my eye and from there I wanted to know more about what happened. Trust me, once you pick up this story you won’t be putting it down anytime soon. This is just the beginning in a stunning series of more hot reads to come. Lashell Collins is one very talented writer! Her words will leave readers in a huge emotional addictive state that never ends.

Jagged Hearts is indeed everything the name suggests. Two souls who happen to find one another by chance and after four years neither has stopped thinking about the other one. Noah is everything women and girls could want in the man of their dreams. A talented and bright individual who is rough on the outside but sweet where it matters most. Noah just got out of a relationship with a girl who didn’t believe in him or his dreams. Noah couldn’t stand that she didn’t trust me him at all. So, he left her and little did he know fate was going to dangle the right woman in front of his nose.  Mercy Holland and her friends hung out where Noah and his band played. She loved their music and was a loyal fan. When he hits on her, Mercy takes what he gives. But then things change and he leaves her behind. His band excels and make it to the tops. Every song is dedicated to a woman Noah left behind. However, fate isn’t finished with Noah nor Mercy just yet. Noah and his band end up with a manager. A manager whose daughter so happens to be the one girl he left behind. Now, as she is hanging around the band, Noah has to struggle with his hidden emotions and with his older brother hitting on her. Plus, there’s her dad who is his band’s manager. Can things get better or worse?

I loved reading Jagged Hearts by Lashell Collins. Her characters are just too irresistible and too hot to ignore. The scenes are livid and packed with enough action and suspense to keep readers in all night long. A perfect novel full of heated tension, a love that can or can’t happen, and what a band group goes through daily. I highly recommend this romance read to readers everywhere! Jagged Hearts is a must read for all. Overall, I rate it a five out of five stars.

Book Review: Jennifer and Rocket by Anita Claire

Jennifer and Rocket by Anita Claire is another incredible romance novel within the brilliant stunningly series. All of the novels in The Princess of Silicon Valley can be read separately. That’s one of the reasons I love this series so much. Jennifer is tired of metro-sexual men. She wants a real man. When she eyes Rocket with the tats and piercings, she doesn’t think there’s much more to this hot man than meets the eyes. Rocket has spent his entire time, wasting it away with drinking and tons of women. But now he wants to settle down and the middle school teacher, Jennifer, is the one he wants to settle with. He takes her to an art gallery where she finally learns there is indeed more to this sexy man that she first thought. Jennifer’s story isn’t complete without the help of her college friends and her title: Princess. Anita Claire has beautifully written an adult novel that is realistically enchanting. Her characters are real, hot, and have flaws that make them interesting. I loved reading each and everyone of her novels in this exciting series. Every girl in this series has gone through their own situations and there’s always plenty of hot men to satisfy readers’ attention. I would recommend reading Jennifer and Rocket to all. I enjoyed their adventure and journey and I have no doubt others will fall in love with them too. Overall, I rate it a five out of five stars.

Book Review: Back in the Game by Lori Wilde

Back in the Game (Stardust, Texas, #1)New York Times Best-selling author, Lori Wilde has once again done a beautiful job in weaving a realistic characters and suspenseful characters. I could not put the novel down at all until I finished the entire story. As a reader, I had to know what happened. Back in the Game is by far the greatest romance novel for adults. I was taken away by the stunning story of the main character, Breeanne Carlyle. She has gone through life battling her way through. She thinks of herself as a plain nobody. Until fate intervenes and brings her little school girl crush, aka former ex-pitcher, Rowdy Blanton. The man was beyond handsome. Just looking at him at the estate sale had Breeanne glued to her spot. She couldn’t move even if she wanted too, and then he winks at her! Breeanne doesn’t get a taste of what life has to offer until Rowdy Blanton steps up to the bat. He teaches her all kinds of adventurous things including humanly pleasures that neither can get enough of. But Breeanne isn’t the only one who has flaws and struggles. Rowdy has struggled all his life just like Breeanne but in a different way. He learns so much and wants more out of life than what he has now. All because of one woman who makes him laugh. Breeanne Carlyle. But as with all stories these two have to battle their demons and battle their feelings. Will they make it to home run?

Back in the Game by Lori Wilde is indeed a must read for all. Her knowledge and humor in her writing will keep luring readers to her books.  The stakes in this brilliantly well written novel will capture the hearts of every reader. I enjoyed reading about Breeanne and Rowdy. They make an irresistible pair. I highly recommend this contemporary romance to all. Overall, I rate it a five out of five stars.

Book Review: Send Me an Angel by Christa Maurice

Send Me an Angel by Christa Maurice is one stunning romance that will have readers instantly coming back for more. Her plot is addictive and enticing. As a reader, I have found it impossible to put the book down until I have finished reading the entire book. Her characters Angie and Alan are the most believable characters readers will ever read about. They both have their flaws which make them pop out and off the pages.  Alan’s struggle is the instant conflict that looms over both Angie and him until the very ending. I loved reading this brilliant steamy novel that will warm up anyone’s heart. I cannot get enough of Christa Maurice’s characters. I will definitely be reading more of her work in the future.

Angie needs the money to pay for her bills and so she goes for an acting audition that soon leads her to something much bigger and more complicated than just memorizing lines for an act. But, acting isn’t what happens when she’s given enough money to survive and be comfortable. Alan’s band mates hire Angie because she is just the right type of woman that would allure their band mate’s attention and keep him from falling. Nobody including Alan and Angie ever thought they would be falling in love. But with Alan’s past mistakes and him on the verge of losing everything once again keeps Angie aware that falling for Alan isn’t the best option. Can Angie keep Alan from ruining his life and what will fate have in store for them both?

I highly recommend reading Send Me an Angel by Christa Maurice. And I also recommend to readers everywhere to check out her other novels within this hot, exciting and fast-paced series. I promise you won’t regret reading them! Overall, I rate this novel a five out of five stars.

What Book are You Reading?

What book are you currently reading? Did you liked this book or hate it? And why?

I currently read a novel that I just received the other day in the mail. It’s called Faux Happiness. The story was compelling. It lured me in from the beginning leading to asking why. Why did it happen to the character? Will she make it through it? How does it affect her future? A story about a young girl who was raped by her cousin. It doesn’t matter what your skin tone is, rape still happens to young girls and boys all over the world. The novel brought to my attention the bad things that still go on, while I am living my safe life here in my small rural town. I would love to say my town operates backwards and is the slowest and most boring place to live in ever, but at least it’s safe. Safe enough that I never worry about being raped. Or killed. Or robbed. Or beaten to death. After reading this small but well written story. I realized that crimes are still happening. And what I am doing? Going about my life like their isn’t a single worry. But there is. Terrorists attacking nations all over, rape happening in side of family homes, and little babies dying before they take their very first breathe into the world.

Another novel that I read before this one that I recently wrote a book review for was called Count Your Blessings by Sharon Sala. Her novel was the hard and real truth on what happens within our world every day. Cheating among spouses.  A woman marries a man who is a preacher and then finds him cheating on her. Would you think that a good man who is head of a church would commit such a crime? No! I surely hope one wouldn’t. But it opened my eyes to the harsh reality of the cruel world we all live in today.

Another novel that I read before these two is called Barking Madness. A YA novel that tells a story about a young girl who suffered in the past from a father who was crazy and attacked his own family. And now as a teenager, with a new father, move with her mom and little sister to a new place. Little does she know that the terrifying monster who has wrecked her life as a kid and now as a teen was her father who was released from prison. She remembered being attacked by a wolf and soon believes that she is a monster too. She believed that she turned into a monster at full moon and killed her friends herself. But it was actually her father who did. This is another hard fact to consume. The psychological part of those who enjoy killing. But the girl didn’t watching her friends die. She wanted to be normal to be good. And the bigger question is did she actually turn into a wolf? Or was it all part of her mind? And if part of her mind than does that mean she has inherited a part of her dad’s psychological state? And what about her one friend who thinks he saw her turn into a wolf? Does that too make him crazy? Or was it an overreaction to fear and teen hormones hitting sky high?

These three novels are 5 star reads. I would highly recommend them to all readers. I enjoyed reading these because each one was unique and brought to life the stories and characters deep inside the plots waiting for us all to discover and uncover the real truths. Each author as brilliantly spun a marvelous story the teaches us all something about the real world in which we live in today.

Chapter 8 Dark World War

Chapter 8:
Dark Designs
Jennifer woke to a bright early sun. Today was her day off. She had planned to go out shopping today. Jennifer went into the bathroom to take a morning shower to wake herself up before she made her morning coffee. She wanted to get a gift for Andrews as a thank you to him for his kindness to her. She knew that he collected coffee cups, like she did. But Andrews was a big time coin collector. She knew of a store near the mall that had some rare coins that she could stop by to find something for him.
After an hour of showering Jennifer wrapped a towel around her body and went into the kitchen to start the coffee maker. Well the coffee maker brewed her favorite morning drink, Jennifer dried her hair and got dressed. She wore a tight pair of blue jeans with a belt. She put on a sports bra because they were far more comfortable, then she put on a small dark green t-shirt over it. She then grabbed a thin black jacket and put it on.
Jennifer got into her truck and left the base. She cruised down the road to the freeway access that will take her to Lynnwood. The trip took Jennifer three hours to reach the town of Lynnwood where the mall was.
“Uh, I’m hungry,” Jennifer complained to herself as she pulled up into the parking lot. She felt her belly complain that it was hungry. “First trip to the food court.” She walked into the main entrance that was on the opposite side of the mall from the food court where Jennifer wanted to be. The mall was crowded, despite the fact that it was a Tuesday. “Oh well,” Jennifer thought to herself. She saw an ice cream shop and just could not resist. Jennifer went up to the counter of the Ice Cream shop to place her order. “I want three scoops of chocolate ice cream with fudge and chocolate sauce.” The girl on the other side of the counter made Jennifer her ice cream bowl and handed it to her after Jennifer paid the young lady for the bowl.
She sat down at a table to enjoy her ice cream. Chocolate was her favorite, and she was thinking of Andrews. This caused Jennifer to think erotically for a moment, and she was enjoying it, but being in a public place may not be the best place for this. She smiled to herself and lightly blushed as she thought of her lover. She finished her ice cream, to it to the trash bin, and walked back into the mall.
Unknown to Jennifer, that a shadowy man in black was following her. He saw her enter a large clothing retail store to look at shoes. Jennifer spent an hour inside the store trying on several different shoes. She bought two new pairs of shoes and walked out to the next store. The shadowy man decided to wait until Jennifer was alone in the parking lot.
After four hours of shopping Jennifer had her hands full of new things for herself, Marylynn, and Everett. Jennifer put all her things in the back seat of her four door truck and locked it. The shadowy man came up from behind and covered Jennifer’s mouth with a cloth laced with chloroform. Jennifer blacks out, and the shadowy man reveals his true self as a male Demon servant to the Evil One. He tore a hole in mid air, tossed Jennifer in and he jumps in after her.
Jennifer stirred and moaned as she slowly woke back up. She felt that she was laying on something very soft and silky. It felt so good to her scared skin. Jennifer woke up to see a dark room with a fireplace lite on the far side of a large room. Jennifer was still in her clothes as she looked at herself, her shoes were missing though. The bed itself was very large and covered in black sheets, blankets, made of silk and other fine materials.
“Someone went all out,” Jennifer said to herself. She stood up on the floor and saw how big the bed was. She saw that the bed was as tall as she was. Jennifer felt her strength return to her, and she looked around for a door or away out. “I need to get out of here.”
“And where would you go?” a powerful male voice echoed from the shadows.
“Who’s there? Show yourself!” Jennifer ordered readying herself for a fight.
A very tall powerful muscular man with pale skin appeared before her. The man towered over Jennifer, he had to be at least seven or eight feet tall. But he was so handsome, Jennifer could not help but be captivated by him. He now seduced her by just looking at him.
“Who are you?” Jennifer asked absent-mindedly.
He stood there directly in front of her nearly naked. He kneeled down to come eye to eye with her. “You are an actual magnificent woman. But you need a few improvements before we engage.”
He kisses Jennifer passionately on her lips, and the act paralyzed Jennifer and made her have an orgasm. The tall powerful has in is hand a vial full of a purple liquid in it. He gently opened Jennifer’s mouth and poured the liquid in her. Jennifer’s reflexes made her drink it. The taste and sudden shock to Jennifer’s body snapped her out of her trance. She held her stomach from a sharp pain inside her belly. In a few seconds Jennifer’s body began to expand. Her muscles grew, her hair gets longer, her breast get larger, her body becomes taller. She tore through her clothes and only had her underwear covering her now. Within a few minutes Jennifer stops growing and she realizes that she was back to the size she was a few weeks ago when she used the wishes from the teapot.
“Now, you are perfect. The ultimate woman, a mortal goddess. The one that will give me what I have desired for so long,” the man smiled evilly at the distracted Jennifer.
“What have you done to me?” Jennifer demanded.
“I have made you into what you should be, now and forever. You will continue to grow stronger and more powerful with every passing second for all time. You are a worthy mate, and lover,” the man when embraced Jennifer.
The hulking woman used her new strength to shove the man off of her. “You are one fucked up fool. You do realize that you have made me the strongest Human to ever live and no one can over power me, right?”
“True you are the strongest Human to ever draw breath, but you can still be controlled and seduced,” he said.
Jennifer felt another orgasm, but this one was so much stronger. So strong in fact that she fell to her knees and became impassioned to the point where she now needed to have sex. It did not matter with whom at this point. She breathed heavily trying to control herself and her unstoppable urges.
“Your urges and appetites have become infinite. The more you resist the stronger your urges and appetites will become,” the man said.
“What sick plan do you have with me, Evil One?” Jennifer demanded knowing who he is now. “What do I have that you want?”
“A divine child,” the Evil One said and then kissed Jennifer even more passionately. Jennifer’s powerful new body became numb and she lost control of everything. Her sexual urges became so uncontrollable that she felt the Evil One force himself into her. Jennifer with the Evil One on her fell onto the bed as he pushed into her harder and harder. He curtest all of her new strong curves and muscles making Jennifer explode with more orgasms then she had ever felt. Even if she could fight, she could not, because the sheer pleasure and the numbness kept her from moving properly. Jennifer had never felt such pleasure before, and she felt so guilty for this.
“Please stop,” Jennifer whimpered, but her plea went without a reply.
“Where is Jennifer? She has been missing for three days!” Andrews stated worried.
“I don’t fucking know you crazed primate!” Huxcu complained.
“I may know,” Everett said coming up to Andrews.
“Where?” the young general demanded.
“I felt a dark vortex form in that town you call Lynnwood. Jennifer was there. She may have been taken to the dark realm,” Everett admitted.
“If she is in the dark realm, what will happen to her?” Marylynn asked.
“I’m not sure, but we need to get her out of there though,” Everett said.
“Can you still get to the dark realm?” Andrews asked.
“I can, but I’ll need help and I can only take one other person with me,” Everett warned.
“Take me with you. I want to make sure that Jennifer is safe,” Andrews said.
“You must really like that short, dike,” Huxcu laughed. A female Grey Alien smacked Huxcu on the back of his head for the insult.
“Idiot!” the female Grey Alien screamed at Huxcu.
“Everett, what do you need to get us to the dark realm?” Andrews asked.
“Just a small dark room, and if you want to come, follow me,” the Demoness ordered.
An hour later Everett got her dark room and Andrews followed her into it.
“Okay the transition is going to be a little rough for you. You’re not use to it,” Everett warned her Human ally.
“Just do it. I’ll worry about the consequences later,” Andrews ordered.
Everett’s hands began to glow purple and then she made a circle. The circle formed into a vortex to the dark realm. Everett and Andrews jumped in and the vortex closed behind them.
Jennifer laid in the black sheeted and blanketed bed completely naked and sweating hard. For the last three days she had been having sex with the Evil One. How could he do that for three straight days, and somehow she could do it too. In fact she had more energy in her then before, and she hated this. She felt that she has betrayed Andrews. She started to sob, until the arm of her violator wrapped around her shoulder and rested his hand on her gigantic breast. She shoved him off of her to give herself some space. She then felt him fondle her larger buttocks. This was now getting irritating to Jennifer.
“Stop it damn it. You have been banging me for three days now, and you are still at it? How much do you want?” Jennifer complained.
“I will not stop until you fulfill your mission for me. Until then, I will enjoy you,” the Evil One said slyly.
Jennifer felt something odd in her belly. It was enough to cause Jennifer to moan lightly. The Evil One knew that something was up and he felt Jennifer’s stomach.
“You have done it. You are pregnant with a powerful child,” he whispered into her ear.
“You fucking man whore,” Jennifer spat.
“You truly are a magnificent woman. Imagine the children that you will bring into the world. Powerful beings, gods and goddess that will conquer all the known realms. You will be the mother of the most powerful beings in the universe,” the Evil One promised.
“I’ll mother this one and no more kids for you!” Jennifer said sitting up. She felt her stomach and found it to be harder then normal. “My god I’m hungry!”
The Evil One snapped his fingers and a table appeared with all of Jennifer’s favorite treats, snacks, and secret desires to eat. Jennifer’s appetite overcame her and she started eating and could not stop. As she ate more candy appeared. Chocolate ice cream, fudge, brownies, peeps, marshmallows, chocolate chip cookies, apple pies, popcorn, and chocolate covered fruit. Jennifer loved it all and she just could not stop stuffing herself.
“Eat all you want. You will have al you could ever desire,” the Evil One ran his fingers over Jennifer’s naked curves and large muscles. “The pleasures will never stop.”
Jennifer felt a small bump in her belly. The baby growing inside her was growing fast. She stopped eating and realized what was going on. She had to resist his temptations to her.
Jennifer summoned all of her strength and elbowed him in his stomach. The sudden strike allowed Jennifer to quickly turn around faster then she was ever able to, and punched him so hard in the face that his skull fractured. She picked him up and held the unconscious Evil One over her head and Jennifer tossed him into a tub. Jennifer found several chemicals and dumped them into the tub and turned on the hot water.
“Soak on that, you fucking pig!” Jennifer spat. She found the door that lead out of the room to be locked. Jennifer remembered that she is the strongest Human ever, s she used her strength to break down the door. “Well that was easy.” Jennifer ran down the hall completely naked and oblivious to the cold. “I think I need some clothes that will fit me?” Jennifer looked behind her and saw how far she ran. “Wow I’m so much faster now!” Jennifer smiled to herself. “I actually like this. Maybe I can put this new power to use. The Evil One just made me his equal and I will make sure that he can’t do any more damage.”
Jennifer busted down the door to a Demoness’s dressing room. Four Demoness’s looked up at the seven-foot tall Human behemoth of a woman. Two of them launch themselves at Jennifer only for her to swat at them. Jennifer shattered their bones killing them instantly. The other two Demoness’s hissed at Jennifer but they backed away from her as she came closer.
“You two are going to get me some clothes that fit,” Jennifer ordered.
“Why?” one of the Demoness’s asked.
“Do you want a broken skeleton?” Jennifer asked. They both shook their heads. The other Demoness went into the closet and brought out some underwear for Jennifer to wear. “This bra and panties are all you have?”
“It’s the only thing in your size,” the Demoness complained.
“Alright, now get lost,” Jennifer, ordered. She slipped into the underwear and put on the very tight bra. She felt her belly again and noticed that the tiny bump was now slightly larger. “You’re growing fast. We need to get out of here.” Jennifer looked around. “Well it’s a good thing that you have the most powerful mommy ever.”
Jennifer used her new strength to run faster then she ever could. She then came across a lab. Jennifer forced her way in and found it empty. She found books, tubes, beakers, and racks full of vials. Jenifer went to the vials and saw labels on each one. One said infinite strength, another said growth, one said rain, water, fire, mind.
“Decisions, decisions,” Jennifer thought. Then she decided to try them all. There were a hundred vials of magical potions. Jennifer drink one after another after another. After the hundredth vial Jennifer’s belly felt sore. “Holy crap my belly feels like it’s going to explode!” Jennifer felt massive surges of power coursing thru her. Jennifer’s belly starts to expand at a rapid rate. She watched her belly grow bigger, because the baby inside her was growing larger faster. Her child is getting more powerful and that was causing her child to grow.
“Everett, are you sure you know where to go?” Andrews asked the Demoness.
“Yes I do. We need to get to the lab to get a few things for me,” Everett said. She was hoping to get a few potions to use and to keep. They wonder threw the fortress for an hour before they come across a door that had been smashed open. They heard a female moaning loudly.
“That sounds like Jennifer,” Andrews said excited.
He and Everett went into the room and saw that it was indeed Jennifer, a very large Jennifer with an enormous pregnant belly. She looked just like she did when she took the teapot and wished for this body. And she looked like Everett when she was pregnant.
“Andrews, Everett, please help me!” Jennifer cried out to them.
“She’s huge! We both are not strong enough to lift her. And she has a very large baby in her belly,” Everett complained.
“We can’t just leave her here!” Andrews roared.
“What happened to all the vials?” Everett asked worried.
“I drank them all,” Jennifer admitted.
“You what?” Everett asked astonished.
“I was hoping to get stronger or bigger, but my baby got bigger and stronger instead,” Jennifer said out of breath.
“You did the same thing I did,” But you have the powers too now. It’s all permanent and I’ll tell you right now,” Everett put her hand on Jennifer’s naked belly. “You have a divine baby girl growing inside you.” Everett was astonished. She always wanted to have this child, but Jennifer was the destined mother all along. Jennifer sat up towering over both Andrews and Everett. “Can you walk?” Jennifer nodded.
Jennifer was outrunning Andrews and Everett as they struggled to keep up. Jennifer felt odd with her massive belly but she was able to run. She ran right through a ten-inch thick solid wall of stone as if it was tissue paper. She jumped down several stories and landed on her feet with no pain. Andrews held on to Everett as she jumped the same distance.
Jennifer all of a sudden felt a surge of pain in her belly.
“She’s in labor. We don’t have much time,” Everett warned.
Jennifer fell to her knees unable to stand back up. Andrews did what he could to hold her up. However Jennifer weighed five hundred pounds and was twice Andrews size now. Everett worked as fast as she could to open a more powerful portal. Everett’s powers are stronger in the dark realm so she can make the vortex large enough for the three of them. Jennifer’s cries of pain got louder as she struggled to hold her child inside long enough to get out of the dark realm. Andrews was struggling to keep Jennifer on her feet. Everett got the vortex open, and not a moment too soon. Andrews walked Jennifer through and Everett followed them in.
Jennifer laid on a hospital bed screaming in pain as she pushed out her child. A few hours later Jennifer gave birth to a ten pound baby girl with blonde hair and blue eyes.
“She is so gorgeous,” Jennifer smiled and cried.
“What is her name?” Marylynn asked cooing at the baby. Everett was also in the room smiling at the baby.
“I will name her Danielle,” Jennifer kissed the baby on her forehead. “She is mine.”

Dark World War- Chapter 7

The Evil One went into hiding. Nobody knows where or how long. All they know is that the Evil One is disfigured and left powerless now. Sabre was left with her boss, the Evil One’s empire all to herself. What to do…, she thought. It was no use waiting for Evil One to return. What could he possibly do to her now? Absolutely nothing. If all the rumors were true. Sitting in the Evil One’s chair, Sabre ponders her options. She can now take over. Become powerful and rule the empire herself. Making the male minions serve her like they served Evil One. Then she can take care of her sister, the trader. Going over to the other side. Now, I’ll crush her. Making her wish she had died earlier. Before her sister Everett, went to the other side. Sabre tempted to kill her own sister. She wanted the Evil One to herself. She wanted the Evil One to love her. But he didn’t. And now that he’s weak. Sabre isn’t going to let him near her. She will destroy him. As well as destroying her sister too. And that meddling American team with their alien friends. Trying to save the world. Not if she can stop them.

Sabre leaves the chair and heads to the Evil One’s private library. The library was off guard to everyone. Anyone who went in would be killed. Try killing me now, Evil One..Sabre silently said to herself. Stepping into the library, there were thousands upon thousands of books ! Tables were full of glass bottles with different colored liquids glowing, sizzling, and bubbling. What the heck are these, Sabre thought. This could take longer than she expected.

Back at the other world, the team was struggling with a major problem. If they didn’t get off the planet soon, they will all perish.  The Judge, and the eight member team were rushing out of the building as fast as possible. Heading back to their spacecraft to and leaving the planet far behind them, a huge tidal wave from the explosion forces their craft to move.

“Wow, that was fast..”, Marylynn stated.

“Yeah, there goes my whole planet as I once knew it”, the Judge commented back.

“Well, I am just happy to be alive”, Horcux told them all.

“Let’s head back home, guys”, Andrews says.

“You got it boss!”, Horcux said.

Feeling a tad shaken over having almost died, Jennifer sits quietly. Andrew sensing her quietness sits down beside her. Taking his arm to bring her closer to him. Jennifer feeling relief from Andrew’s comfort silently cries. Having his arm around her reassured they would all be okay.

Everett almost forgot about the necklace.

“Hey guys, I have the necklace!”

Cheers exploded all around the ship. Having barely escaped death, at least their efforts of their mission weren’t wasted. They had what they came looking for.

“So, what do we do now?”, the Judge asked.

“Now, we will just place it where it will be safe”, Markus replied.

“And the Evil One?”, the Judge asked again.

“We just have to wait, til he shows up again. And then fight him then”, Andrews said.

The craft once again fell silent as the craft reached it’s designation..

Meanwhile back the the Evil One’s empire. Sabre was reading all the books, and going through the spells. this is how the Evil One…but before she could finish her thought, one of the male minions came in.

“Sabre! The Americans got away with another object!!”, he announced.

“What?!!! How??!!”, she demanded from him.

“Evil One was there, with Amanda. And of course the team was there and..”

“Wait, Evil One was there?”, she questioned him.

“Yeah, he was. There with Amanda.”

“I shall have to deal with Amanda then..”

“Actually, she’s dead.”

“She is? How? And tell me everything! Or else I shall inform Evil One how unfaithful you are as a servant to him”, she demanded.

Feeling fear of what Sabre would do, the minion told her everything he knew. Then after she got her information from him, she killed him. Sending him flying across the wall, where there were metal spikes. Hitting the wall, he was noting but disembodied and blood. Leaving the room, Sabre ordered two other minions to clean up the mess. She headed up to her room. What to do now..If the Evil One is gaining his powers back he could destroy her easily. But, if he’s not then she could easily continue with her plans. Destroying him, and her sister. And the American team too. Then she will expand the empire as her own. Everyone will answer to her.
