Review:

A Real Prince by Debbie Macomber is a 2 in 1 read. Two novellas inside one amazing book.

The first tale is about a prince whose country is in a bad state. Financially speaking, it needs to find a way to get money flowing again. The prince’s only way to save his country is to find himself a rich bride. However, he finds a woman who steals his heart instead. She doesn’t have money to offer him, but her love is so much more than he imagined. The prince isn’t the only man who finds someone to love…

The second tale is about a photographer who teams up with a female biologist to go on a lifetime adventure. The only catch is that only a married couple can go on this trip…so, a fake marriage of convience happens and the unexpected happens. A life altering change for both. Love hits them hard when they least expected it. A beautiful gift is given to them as well.

A Real Prince by Debbie Macomber was well-written. Heartfelt, chariming, and sweet. Romantic too. Each of the characters felt real. Their lives were believable. The situations they’re in were fun to watch unfold. Every page was entertaining. Overall, I highly recommend it to all.

The Duke of Golden of Golden Shire by Nicole Strycharz is one phenomenal read. Talk about wow…Instantly, readers are plunged deep into the plot…and straight into the characters shoes. I cried, laughed, blushed and felt frustrated in more ways than one. Readers will need a tissue box for this remarkable story. I couldn’t stop reading once I opened up the book. The heat, hot sex, and emotional journey, was a million times that of any other novel I have ever read.  Those most talked about movies that move the audience in ways that you can’t stop thinking about them…well, The Duke of Golden Shire is exactly that. I finished it in one night and haven’t stopped thinking about it since then…Nicole Strycharz is beyond talented. Her words pull readers in and then wrap a tight vine around them and keep them prisoner until the ending. OMG! The ending…I can’t say too much without spoiling it…but readers will be on hands and knees beginning for the next brilliant adventure. This was masterfully woven for all readers’ entertainment and I highly recommend it to readers worldwide.  I know for a fact that I simply can’t get enough of Nicole Strycharz’s writing…her characters will blow readers away.

Review: A Robot in the Garden

Synopsis:

For fans of THE ROSIE PROJECT and THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHTTIME, A broken man and his damaged robot build an unlikely friendship-with some assembly required.

Ben’s really great at failing at things-his job, taking the garbage out, and being a husband. But when he discovers a battered robot named Tang in his garden, he decides to get out of his couch-ridden comfort zone. Without a crucial bit of machinery, Tang will stop working, and Ben can’t let that happen, especially since he’s already alienated everyone else he cares about. Determined to achieve something for once in his life, Ben sets out to fix his new robot comrade and soon discovers that Tang might be just the thing to fix what’s broken in Ben. Funny, touching, and charming, A Robot in the Garden explores what it is to be a man, a sentient being, and a friend.

Rating: 5 stars

Review:

A Robot in the Garden by Deborah Install is crazy, silly, funny, and sweet. I have never read a book quite like this one. One day a young couple wake up to find a robot in their garden. From there I got to enjoy the husband questioning the robot to feeling something for the sad looking robot that would hardly speak to him. The man fights with his wife over keeping the robot. She complains that it’s old, broken and can do nothing but sit and look at horses. Yet, as the story progresses I found out along with the man that the robot was more than just an old AI.

The robot had feelings just like any other human being. Soon, the sad yet dangerous journey into finding out the robot’s past life and getting it fixed new will tug at readers’ hearts just like it did for mine. Tang, the robot, is adorable. Like a little boy, the robot makes one laugh and cry and feel good. Tang also helps Ben find himself and help him finally heal after losing both his parents. His wife didn’t understand that until much later on…I guess it’s better to realize things than not to realize them at all. Love can heal and last forever…but it takes time and takes both people willing to love to work. A Robot in the Garden showed all this and more. Marriage isn’t easy nor will ever be but it’s definitely worth having if both want it. Deborah Install leaves many surprises and twists along the way that makes this an irresistible read. This was the first novel I have read by Deborah Install, and I highly recommend it to readers worldwide.

Review: The Divorce

Synopsis:

Jenzy: I love my husband, but he doesn’t see me anymore. We were collage sweethearts and for seven years I’ve been his wife. Five of those years were bliss; the last two have been a long fall from grace.

He’s the love of my life, the sexy and smart man I saw my future with, but now I don’t think he sees it too. I’m tired of not being seen, I’m tired of not being heard, and I’m tired of being in love alone.
I was his optimistic hippie girl that he couldn’t get enough of. Now I’m just his annoyance.

So I told him, I finally found the backbone and this is our story….

Chris: My wife just told me she wants a divorce. What the hell do I say to that? I thought we were fine-, well fine is a bad word, I thought we were okay. Doesn’t matter what I think because she’s moving out and I can’t really let this happen.

Yeah, she annoys me, we’re total opposites, but I knew that when I met her, she hasn’t changed…maybe I have? I was her anchor, her safety, her home. Now I’m that guy that’s wreaked her and there are plenty of men willing to repair the damage I did.

So I have a plan. Find out what happened to change my affection for her within the last two years, and win her back before someone else does, because I still love her, and she still loves me….I guess….

Rating: Beyond 5 stars

Review:

The Divorce by Nicole Strycharz is absolutely phenomenal. The story itself sucked me in whole. It devoured me in entire form. I can’t remember reading a novel especially, a romance novel that made me laugh and cry so hard. The emotional journey was just breath taking. I felt everything like it was me experiencing it all first hand. This is a novel that will go to the big screens and be the one everyone talks about…I highly recommend reading it before they make it into a movie.

I have read Nicole Strycharz’s other works and this one moved me in ways I can’t describe. The characters were three dimensional…the scenes popped to life. I felt happy, excited, sad, angry, and wow…the steamy scenes were good too. I happen to read a lot of of books…say 300 books a year if not more. I know a great novel when I find it and this is definitely one of them. The Divorce is a powerful tale of a couple’s marriage. The ups and downs most couples experience are lived in this story. I could feel the fear and frustrations from both the husband and wife as their love, troubles, and growth continued. As a reader, I was instantly hooked and compelled by the brilliant writing of this talented writer. It’s easy to connect with the characters and their situations as they occured. Love is something we all cherish or should. We need to be loved as to love others…and this novel demonstrates that beautifully. Humans can be so blinded at times and it’s not until we lose something that we are awakened by what we have done. Overall, I seriously recommend this riveting romance tale to readers worldwide. I promise you will fall in love…

Dead Money Run is a fast paced, action packed, crime thriller. This is the first book in the Lou Malloy Crime Series.

On the day Lou Malloy is to be released from prison, the warden calls him for a private meeting. “Ten percent of fifteen million is a lot of money,” the warden tells him. He’s probing Lou for the whereabouts of the $15M that was stolen from a casino 15 years earlier. Lou, however, doesn’t bite. He’s got big plans, which include finding the person who killed his sister while he was in the joint.

Enter Hilary Kelly, a 20-something beauty who gives Lou a motorcycle ride from the bus station. She claims to be a student, but Lou is far too wise to fall for it. After crashing in Hilary’s trailer, Lou soon finds her .38 Smith and Wesson and discovers she’s a private investigator who knows something about his sister.

Hilary a great character, and loaded with memorable lines: “Lou, sometimes you can be the nicest killer I have ever known.” Alas, she and Lou were made for each other – he likes to think of himself as a “compassionate killer.”

Review: Perfect Days

Synopsis:

A twisted young medical student kidnaps the girl of his dreams and embarks on a dark and delirious road trip across Brazil in the English-language debut of Brazil’s most celebrated young crime writer.

Teo Avelar is a loner. He lives with his paraplegic mother and her dog in Rio de Janeiro, he doesn’t have many friends, and the only time he feels honest human emotion is in the presence of his medical school cadaver—that is, until he meets Clarice. She’s almost his exact opposite: exotic, spontaneous, unafraid to speak her mind. An aspiring screenwriter, she’s working on a screenplay called Perfect Days about three friends who go on a road trip across Brazil in search of romance. Teo is obsessed.

He begins to stalk her, first following her to her university, then to her home, and when she ultimately rejects him, he kidnaps her and they embark upon their very own twisted odyssey across Brazil, tracing the same route outlined in her screenplay. Through it all, Teo is certain that time is all he needs to prove to Clarice that they are made for each other, that time is all he needs to make her fall in love with him. But as the journey progresses, he digs himself deeper and deeper into a pit that he can’t get out of, stopping at nothing to ensure that no one gets in the way of their life together. Both tense and lurid, and brimming with suspense from the very first page, Perfect Days is a psychological thriller in the vein of Patricia Highsmith’s The Talented Mr. Ripley—a chilling journey in the passenger seat with a psychopath, and the English language debut of one of Brazil’s most deliciously dark young writers.

My Review:

Malibu Angel by Mia Fox is the first novel that I have read by her. This story caught my attention immediately. I love anything that has romance and a little bit of the supernatural. Unlike a majority of supernatual and paranormal novels, this one features guradian angels. The good kind of angels that watch out for us no matter what. But Mia Fox has beautifully woven several exciting twists and leaves readers wondering what will happen. The suspense of the guradian angel’s assignment and the danger that looms right around this assignment creates for an edge of your seat read. Brilliantly spun together is the danger, suspense, and romance. A romance that is highly forbidden and one that make a potent lure for readers everywere.

Mia Fox’s romantic suspense is a must read. A male guardian angel is given his toughest assignment yet. He has to protect a human woman. One that instantly attract him more than he likes. He needs to control his attraction for the human woman and protect her from harm that is just around the corner. There are so many what-ifs inside this suspenseful read that readers will be holding their breathe wondering what happens to the attraction between the angel and the human woman as well as what happens if he lets his desires be known for her. I loved reading this hot romantic novel. Mia Fox knows exactly what readers need and delivers just that plus more. Malibu Angel is the most intoxicating hot read that I have read yet. Readers will find their pulse speeding as the manificent plot unfolds. Readers get ready to head to the beach where duty, desire and laws are about to become blurred and heated. Overall, I highly recommend this romance to readers world wide.

Book Review: Eye Candy by Katherine Garbera

Katherine Garbera’s latest novel, Eye Candy, is a must read. Her story is red hot from page one until the very ending. A young woman who meets a man, who is not only her next door neighbor but a hot police officer. She knocks into him on the day of her birthday. He takes her into his home for the night. They share hot kisses that leads them both panting for more to come.  The way both characters can set each other off like fireworks with just a kiss or a glance is incredible. The heat is irresistible and readers won’t be able to put it down.

Eye Candy caught my attention first by the excellent cover design. It showed enough with out giving it all away. The cover lead enough imagination to wonder what happens inside of the book, itself. Snappy, sexy, and satisfying are the three words described for this brilliantly well written romance, and I have to say I agree one hundred percent. As a reader, I read a lot of romances and this is not boring or repetitive. This is hot, refreshing and exciting as ever. Can a good girl snag a hot man? Katherine Garbera’s talent is raw and enticing. Her characters will leave readers breathless. The plot is fast-paced, complex, and out of this world. I would love to say more, but you have to pick up and read it for yourself to find out all the hot steamy happenings. I promise readers world wide won’t be disappointed. Overall, I rate it a five out of five stars and look forward to reading more by Katherine Garbera!

As an artist, Jason Merrin, loves his woman and will stick by her side no matter what happens. Can Maddy make it on her own and will her and Jason still be just as tight as ever? I highly recommend readers to pick up this refreshing erotic romance to find out what happens.

Switch It On is a short novel  that demonstrates a tough Dom who has it all and despite certain situations can arise to meet the challenges. No matter how tough Maddy is on the outside she, is soft inside where it all matters. These qualities of hers make her one beautiful character to follow as the plot unfolds. I enjoyed reading the well written story by J.H. Craig and give a five out of five stars.

Book Review: The Second Coming: A Love Story by Scott Pinsker

Both claimed that he was the Christ and said the other man was the Devil. But which one is really the Christ and which one is the Devil? Even today, this question is not easily answered.  Scott Pinsker has a talent for storytelling and for writing a unique plot that will capture every reader’s attention.  I enjoyed the suspense of trying to figure out for myself who was really who.
