Review:

Cake Spell Disaster by Zoe Arden is phenomenal. Imagine ring the best baker on your side of town and landing a huge bake job, only to fall sick as well as everyone else. One person dies…others severely ill. Felicity doesn’t believe that her mother ‘accidentally’ added the wrong ingredients to her bake goods. Plus, Felicity’s brother is acting strange and a threat is left in the form of a note on her car. The who done it vibeis set perfectly. Two cats are involved. One is a spy for the enemy and the other is a detective for his owners. However, it takes for a deep investigation and for Felicity to get hurt before the final clues are set. From there things get out of hand…literary. I enjoyed reading this paranormal novella. It was sweet, hilarious and dangerous. The mystery of the Cake Spell Disaster kept me intrigued from the beginning to end. I loved the characters. Both the good and bad characters were brilliant. Each added to the story.  Overall, I highly recommend Zoe Arden’s novella, Cake Spell Disaster, to readers everywhere.

Review:

The Little Teashop of Broken Hearts by Jennifer Joyce is a fascinating tale. I highly recommend this novel to all women, everywhere. One young women has had her heart broken. Later on, she finds the courage to open up her own business. The Little Teashop. However, the sales are not going well and she may just lose it all. With the help of friends and family, she creates a baking speed date fundraiser. Couples come to meet other singles and taste her delicious bake goods. Maddie hopes the couples find love and most importantly love her baking. If they love her baking, she may have enough customers to stay open. But then, complications set in…like a man name Caleb. His mom is friends with Maddie’s dad. Lately he’s been helping Maddie with her plan to save her business. He comes up with names that make Maddie want to tease him, but there’s the power of attraction that will make Maddie dizzy. Caleb is a good looking man that she could easily love. Only he doesn’t love her back or so, she overheard him say. That’s fine. She wasn’t looking for love, anyway. Then, fate comes bringing them closer and these two plus, their friends, may find cupid’s arrows after all. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. Full of laughter, frustrations, and love. Second chances and new beginnings are found within the plot. Steady but addictive. Overall, I highly recommend this sweet romance to all.

Review:

Close to Home by Lily Everett is a stunning piece. This contemporary romance appeals to the physical and emotional side of readers. The story instantly sweeps readers off their feet. A sexy undercover FBI agent comes back home. Only to find that his wife moved a year ago, created a new life, and sent divorce papers. Talk about a blow to man’s heart and ego. Johnny won’t accept it. So, he does what any man who loves his wife does. Goes chasing after her. Make her love him again. But his wife has greatly changed. Tessa has redefined herself. She won’t let others dictate her lifestyle. She has worked on being independent. She doesn’t want her husband to love her because she needs his help. Little does she know how much he loves her…and it has nothing to do with just protecting her from the world…

Close to Home shows the reality of life. Marriage isn’t always a fairy tale. Communication issues were apparent in this fictional piece as they really are in real life. Husbands not understanding women’s ways…their bafflement makes me laugh. Especially Johnny admitting he had no idea what his wife wanted back then and even now…I enjoyed reading this tale from both characters’ point of view. It wasn’t told by their view, yet Lily Everett mastered it in a way that I got to see, hear, and understand from both Johnny’s and Tessa’s sides. Overall, this romance was engaging, exciting, and super sweet. The romance is beautiful. I highly recommend it to all.

Synopsis:

The blockbuster SerialTeller serial THE LIGHTENING ROUND is now a novel.

In THE LIGHTENING ROUND, Hannah More, a sassy single mom with weight issues, reluctantly enters Ultimate Level, a San Francisco gym which groups its members based on their weight and fitness levels. Much to her shock, Hannah actually finds that this crazy “fitness experience” works well for her. That is, until she falls for another gym member who is on a different level.

Ultimate Level’s rigidly enforced policies only allow its members to communicate with members on different levels in person for 15 minutes every two weeks both inside and outside of the gym. Hannah will have to come up with some rather ingenious and comic schemes in order to land the romance of her dreams.

Review:

Lightening Round by Bruce Stuart is definitely a must read for all women. A laugh-out-loud novel that will keep readers turning the pages. Bruce Stuart is indeed a talented writer. His words will captivate any audience. Page after  page of excitement will leave readers falling in love with this terrific story.

A story of how one woman lets go and fights for who she is and what she wants. Somewhere along the way Hannah finds the courage that she hasn’t had in a long time. It all starts with her 6-year relationship with a man that criticizes both her and her son and wants her to give me a piece of her business if they were to have a real relationship in the future. My reaction was oh no way, mister! It surprised me at how fast Hannah has grown up and took back full reins on her own life. making her life the way she wants it to be. She’s an excellent baker who runs a successful business with sister. However life isn’t perfect, Hannah had it rough growing up, her son is son attacked, and her sister was almost abused badly. Then there’s her weight that has kept her from thinking that deserves the very best. So, when she enters a weight gym with a friend, her whole life changes. I loved the woman Hannah ahs changed into at the end. Bruce Stuart has beautifully written a novel that readers will love reading from time and time again. Overall, I highly recommend Lightening Round to readers everywhere.
