Review: Half My Age Plus Seven (A Sinful Confession)

Synopsis:

This contemporary, literary romance tells the story of Tara, a 38-year-old East European woman who falls in love with Adrian, a 25-year-old English boy. A psychological tale of mind and heart in a catastrophic collision. Struggles, pain, doubts, desire, guilt, shame, torment, you name it. All human emotions described in detail. But there is more, way more. A novel for soulful people only. Read it and rate it!

Review:

Half My Age Plus Seven: A Sinful Confession by Cristina G. is an emotional rollercoaster. One that goes wildly crazy. Here, there are two protagonists that are not sure of what they want nor how to go about it. The whole story is surrounded by their weak attempts to make a go of a feeling of attraction. The man hardly puts any effort if at all into loving Tara. So, disappointing. Sad, too. Tara despite her age shouldn’t be so childlike in her responses to their relationship. I barely felt like they had anything to go on…was hoping for better outcomes. Other than that, the plot was believable. It felt real. Not a happily ever after tale like most books. It’s a good read for women. It shows how not to be. Standing up, taking action, knowing what you want and going for it…are lessons taught throughout this piece of literature.

Review:

Wedding Bells at Butterfly Cove by Sarah Bennett is a delightful and engaging read. I was impressed with the writer’s talent. I laughed so hard and felt sympathy for the main charcater, Kiki. Kiki is a fictional charcater but one that readers like myself can relate to…I never went through some of the things Kiki did but I totally understood the family and relationship issues. Sarah Bennett created a hilarious, sweet, but believable tale. Her plot holds a lot. A divorce in the works, a lying slash cheating husband, kids who were sad, and a broken family. Plus, broken hearts that needed healing. Kiki’ children are the sweetest. My heart instantly melted for them. Then, with her bravery of leaving the abusive relationship behind, I applauded her. She went from being abused to being independent and strong. The transformation was slow but beautiful. Then, there was the handsome stranger working for Kiki’s sister, Aaron. Aaron, instantly let Kiki and her kids live in his cottage. He never met them yet what he did won me over…a blossoming romance on the horizon, a meddling older sweet woman, and a family that might just get mended. Wedding Bells at Butterfly Cove has it all. It was an emotional journey I’ll never forget. Overall, I highly recommend Sarah Bennett’s novel to all.

Review: The Total Package

Synopsis:

The New York Times bestselling author of Big Girl Panties is back with a funny, sweet, and sizzling novel about love, redemption, and second chances.

Heartthrob star quarterback Tyson Palmer has it all: a million-dollar arm, a winning season and the promise of a Superbowl ring. But more importantly, football’s biggest star is the ultimate comeback kid. After an addiction to painkillers nearly derailed his career, Tyson got sober and went from zero to hero in the eyes of the public.

But one person remains unconvinced: Dani Carr, a sports commentator with high ratings and following of her own.

Dani can’t forgive Tyson’s transgressions or forget a single passionate night with him back in college. To make things worse, Tyson doesn’t realize that the bombshell with huge ratings is the cute co-ed whose heart he once broke.

But can a sports journalist trying to claw her way to the top and a quarterback who knows all about rock bottom make it to the Super Bowl without destroying each other? And what will happen when Tyson—riding high now that he’s revived his career—realizes he needs to make an even more important comeback with Dani? Can he use his million-dollar moves to get past her defenses—or will she sideline him for good?

Stephanie Evanovich is a full-fledged Jersey girl from Asbury Park and the New York Times bestselling author of Big Girl Panties and The Sweet Spot.

Review:

The Total Package by Stephanie Evanovich is incredible. Hot, sweet, and messy. Readers will be blown away by the troubled hearts and drama of two former lovers. Each character has his and her own issues. But getting past them will be difficult especially when each is making their way higher in their perspective fields. Readers hearts will melt will with every page as they come closer to the last page. I am a huge fan of Stephanie Evanovich’s novels and I have to say she has brilliantly created another all time favorite masterpiece. One that readers will love and read over and over again.

The Total Package has it all… Sports, sexy football player, and a smart journalist. The combined package will give off enough heat to make readers blush behind the pages. Stephanie Evanovich introduces readers to a famous man who so happens to have a dark past but then quickly comes around and becomes a hero once again. Only will he be a hero in  a certain woman’s eyes that matter the most to him? It might or might not be too late for Tyson Palmer…but Dani Carr is a whole different story. They had shared a moment in time together and he destroyed her heart…now, Dani is a top name in the world of journalism and she might just make his life a misery of hell…unless he can make amends just as quickly as his recovery. Readers will be tossed into an exciting and heart-racing romance. Stephanie Evanovich never disappoints her readers. I loved every moment in following both characters as their story progressed. Overall, this is a sexy hot must read for all.
