Amber has only ever wanted one thing in life. To be a star. When that dream has finally come true, an old friend ends up getting in the way and friendships may end up jeopardizing everything. Now in a time when privacy is a thing of her past, where paparazzi follow her every move, she’ll need to decide what’s more important to her, because it’s more than just her career on the line.
Tom has struggled for years with his feelings towards Amber, his best friend’s little sister. The woman has been driving him crazy since… well, forever. Now that she’s on every TV set, every movie poster in the country, it’s even harder to avoid looking into those sexy blue eyes and not remembering her passion. Especially when she’ll be spending the next few months back in Denver filming her latest movie. This time, Tom may not be able to hold back the sparks that fly between them.
Best of Luck by Jill Sanders is another sensational hit by this talented writer. It’s no wonder her books are stunning. The romance brewing inside this latest novel was heartfelt. I fell deeply in love with the plot. Fast, engaging, and hilarious. A bit of suspense and danger but mostly a sweet entertaining read from beginning to end.
Jill Sanders has once again, written a superb contemporary romance. I love her writing style. The words are written in a way that entices readers like myself further into the plot. Love…is powerful. Imagine holding onto a love thatnever really gotto begin and then that person comes back…the old feelings come back hitting harder than before. Especially, for Tom. He’s had a thing for Amber for a long time. Her career has made it impossible for Tom to forget how much he likes her…and then when she came back…it was a breaking point. Tom wasn’t going to do nothing…he was going to show Amber. But not all is well in Amber’s world. Threats are happening and Tom isn’t letting it slide. He’s going to do all he can to protect her. Best of Luck is a romance that shows dreams can come true. Amber made her dream career work but now she doubts it. I felt like that characters were real and their issues were easily believable. This tale was enjoyable to read. Overall, I highly recommend it to all.
A deliciously charming romance, perfect for fans of Caroline Roberts, Jane Linfoot and Debbie Johnson.

The Little Teashop of Broken Hearts by Jennifer Joyce is a fascinating tale. I highly recommend this novel to all women, everywhere. One young women has had her heart broken. Later on, she finds the courage to open up her own business. The Little Teashop. However, the sales are not going well and she may just lose it all. With the help of friends and family, she creates a baking speed date fundraiser. Couples come to meet other singles and taste her delicious bake goods. Only he doesn’t love her back or so, she overheard him say. That’s fine. She wasn’t looking for love, anyway. Then, fate comes bringing them closer and these two plus, their friends, may find cupid’s arrows after all. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. Full of laughter, frustrations, and love. Second chances and new beginnings are found within the plot. Steady but addictive. Overall, I highly recommend this sweet romance to all.

Lonely and alienated by the helicopter moms, and from Jason who is never around, Alex’s flirtation quickly moves from on-line to real-world. Alex realizes—too late—that she cannot trust herself. Restless in L.A. by Robin Finn is a must read for all womne. It instantly took me deep into a married woman’s life. Complicated, complex, and adventurous. A full-time mom, battling the struggles of her marriage and children. One of her children has a lot of symptoms that make it hard for him to fit in within a normal classroom setting. His behavior and learning needs are hard. His school isn’t helping him and Alex knows it. Her son needs more. Something different. Alex tries to tell her husband but he doesn’t agree. It’s like a constant battle between them. Tense, messy, and unraveling. Just in case, Alex didn’t have enough to juggle in her life…there’s a photo of her old lover. A man who made her heart race and feel on fire. She ends up making a lot of mistakes, but she needs to really find herself. Life happens…and it can be both bad and good. Restless in L.A. is a contemporary romance that explores a restless married woman’s life. Funny, sad, sexy, and frustrating. Robin Finn writes extremely well. The first few pages were slow, but the plot build up quickly after that. I was hooked. This story was believable. Robin Finn captured real life in her novel. Overall, I recommend it to readers everywhere.
Natalie Duncan is caught off guard and on the road over the Christmas holiday by a blinding snowstorm. In an act of desperation, she picks up a hitchhiker along the mountain pass. When night closes in and the storm worsens, they take refuge in an abandoned cabin to wait out the blizzard.
Russ Crew is instantly attracted to Natalie, but the gold band on her finger stops him from pursuing her.
Natalie, a widow, is also drawn to him except the difference in their ages convinces her that he’s a nice guy simply being polite. Due in part to their desperate situation they form an emotional bond that soon turns physical. But once the snow melts, can they make a relationship work in the world outside their ramshackle cabin?
Snow Job by Kelly Fitzpatrick is an adventure of a lifetime. For both Natalie and Russ it was definitely a life changing event. Both got stuck and stranded in a snow storm. Leaving them inside an ugly, cold, and dirty cabin. One that had no running electricity, water, or food. Freezing their butts off and starving they eat spam and use snow for water. Struggling to survive the duration of the storm. Something more happens. Sending Natalie and Russ feeling hotter than coals on a fire. Lust. Romance. Emotions that neither wanted to feel occur. Strangers helping each other. However, when the storm ends will their hearts be one or broken?
Kelly Fitzpatrick has created a contemporary romance novel that is both funny and sweet. An older woman keeps herself from letting the best thing ever happen. Love. Russ is a bit younger than her. That alone fuels her energy to keep the distance. But their chemistry is so intense, Natalie can’t deny it. Sex. She can’t forget him even if she tried. Her heart says yes. But her mind says no. She leaves him. However, Russ isn’t ready to call it quits. Broken heart or not, he searches until he finds her again. Natalie was easy to relate to as well as like. She’s a mother figure trying to be the best for her teenage daughter. She wants to hold her daughter forever, but knows it’s time to let go. Russ likes Natalie and her daughter. The daughter is sursprisingly smart for her age. Like a mini version of her mom. Russ comes to love them both and is willing to convince Natalie that. Only Natalie is fighting it all the way…Overall, I highly recommend Snow Job to readers everywhere.
Complete Stand Alone/No Cliffhanger
I slept with the wrong twin.
And all I got for it in return was a broken heart.
Oh yeah, and a baby on the way–there’s that too.
But I’m determined to make it on my own. I don’t need a man, thank you very much. Not rich, charismatic, and decidedly flighty Rex Roosevelt, and especially not his twin brother, Justin.
No matter that the gorgeous former military doctor makes my heart beat a little faster . . . and all spots lower than that pay careful, careful attention.
None of that matters. The Roosevelt men are dangerous and I’m steering clear.
The trouble is, Justin refuses to leave me be.
And deep down, I don’t want to avoid him.
Deep down, I want to be even closer.
Disaster at Roosevelt Ranch by Elise Faber is hot, steamy, and exciting! I loved it. The characters are swoon worthy. Sexy, smart, and funny too. The leading male character is internally flawed but despite those flaws he’s the man every woman wants in her life. Meet Justin Roosevelt. The older brother of the man who knocked up an employee and left. Justin comes back to handle the family ranch. Once he’s back, he meets a woman who pulls at his heart. She does the unlikely and pukes all over his shoes and clothes. The most embarrassing moment but also the moment when Justin’s realizes her situation. Her love for horses has lead her back into Justin’s life. From there the shocking truth takes them on a beautiful journey. I loved the brickering between characters. Justin is the hero who is strong enough to handle any stubborn woman…and that one stubborn woman has him so tangled up inside he’s not sure to give into his heart or play it safe. The female character yer was easy to relate as well. Her situation was believable. Her spunky no sugar coated talk made her real. Readers with a fondness for animals and comedy will love this sweet romance. Disaster at Roosevelt Ranch is a must read for all. I highly recommend Elise Faber’s novel to readers everywhere.
Gabriela O’Brien is devoted to the girls at Briarwood Academy—even when their bad behavior earns them an entire summer at a remote campground in Echo Lake, Vermont. When the headmaster assigns Gabi to be their chaperone, how can she refuse? A long, hot summer with neither indoor plumbing nor wireless access might be just what she needs to get her own life in order…right?
Before Briarwood took over Camp Echo, Luke Magellan spent years there helping troubled boys. When four spoiled rich girls and their seemingly uptight den mother show up for the summer, it’s hard to hide his amusement as he watches them tackle the great outdoors. But it’s even tougher to resist the passion he sees in Gabi—especially when he learns about her past, and sees how much she cares about her students. Is this destined to be just a grown-up version of a summer-camp romance—or can they find enough in common to build a love for all seasons?

She’s Got A Way by Maggie McGinnis is an exciting adventure. One that takes readers outdoors to a faraway camp. Welcome to Camp Echo. A beautiful lake and scenery all around it…but there are only two buildings on the site. A place for eating and the administrative building. That’s where the plot gets more exciting…add a group of five teenage girls and their home mother and all hell breaks loose. The girls are taken to Camp Echo which now operates under the rule by their snobbish all girls school. The girls past actions have caused them to be sent to the camp. A way for them to suffer for the trouble they all have caused. The home mother had already made plans to go away for the summer yet the snobbish boss forced her to go with the girls. Now, all five have to learn how to survive the outdoors or drive each other bear crazy. Speaking of bears…readers are in for a sweet surprise.
Maggie McGinnis is a talented writer. Her world of fiction excites, intrigues, and creates emotional attachments to the characters. I really loved how each character is realistically flawed and learns how to let go and move forward despite their situations. The teenage girls learn more at Camp Echo then they will in their rich all girls school. Maybe friendships can be made. Then there’s a possibility of love in the air. Home mother and the handyman at Camp Echo have it bad. It’s hard to put the book down. The characters had me laughing, crying, and falling in love with them. This was definitely a feel-good contemporary romance. Love, life, and new beginnings. She’s Got A Way is a must read for all. Overall, I highly recommend this novel.
Falling for him wasn’t in the plans…
Most girls would kill for the opportunity to work for Jack McAlister, Hollywood’s hottest actor, but twenty-one-year-old Jessica Beckett is ready to kick him out of her red Ford Fiesta and never look back. She should be spending her junior year in France, eating pastries and sharpening her foreign language skills. Instead, she’s reluctantly working as Jack’s personal assistant, thanks to her powerhouse talent agent aunt.
Jack is private, prickly, and downright condescending. Jessica pushes his buttons—she’s not the type of girl to swoon over celebrity heartthrobs, precisely why her aunt thought she’d be perfect for the job—and Jack pushes right back.
But as she begins to peel away his layers, Jessica is shocked to find she craves her boss’s easy smile and sexy blue eyes. The problem is, so does the entire female population. And what started out as the job from hell soon has Jess wondering if a guy like Jack could ever find love with a regular girl like her.

Beyond the Stars by Stacy Wise is a contemporary romance that is well-written. Her story blew me away. Here, we have a typical movie star who asserts authority over everyone including his new assistant. Yet, as the time flies by…his assistant sees him more as a human being portrayed wrong by media. There’s trouble ahead for both of them…and only time will tell what sparks between the two. Can individuals with different careers find the happiness they deserve or will it forever be ruined?
Beyond the Stars is a laugh-out-loud kind of read. Imagine a high profile woman giving her ex-boyfriend slash popular movie star a pig…because she thinks it fits him. Somehow, he has everyone convinced that his ex, gave him the pet pig as a gift of love rather than as a bad statement. The pig is sort of like the Marley and Me tale. It’s funny as hell but will also make readers cry and fall in love too. Stacy Wise’s writing is superb. I loved reading this novel by her. Overall, I would highly recommend it to readers everywhere. I look forward to reading the next best adventure by this brilliant writer.
