Review:

The Bucket List by Emily Ruben is just as good as her previous novel, I Was A Bitch. Here, I instantly liked the main characters. Two old friends catching up again after five years. I liked their teasing banter. I can feel their emotions as if I were in their shoes. The story is entertaining and enjoyable to read. Humor, friendship, and adventure are inside this incredible book. Once more, Emily Ruben has lured me into her world of fiction. I recommend this novel to young adults and adults everywhere.

Review:  More than a Slave

Review:

More than a Slave by Anaelle Gadeyne is the darkest yet most intensifying read ever. The Hunger Games has nothing compared to this book. This was dark, horrifying, and emotional. So many issues brought up in a clever way. I was intrigued and chilled at the same time. Aria is a young woman who sacrificed herself as a slave to help her parents. They were barely living and no food, no money, and their home would be lost forever. But the moment Aria is a slave her life changes forever. Aria won’t experience happiness for a long time. Seven months of torture by a cruel man. Then she suffers cruel punishment from in public. But her bravery and strength surprises a lord watching it all. Alexander has been know to be feared by all. He kills without mercy. However, seeing Aria…he admires and likes what he sees in her. Fiery, bold, and strong. Not to mention beautiful. Aria sees Alexander Anderson and likes him too. But knowing he’s a monster has her slightly off…soon, fate will bring them both together and each one will change the other’s life around completely. More than a Slave brings up the cruelty shown to human beings. How those who are rich treat those who are below them as well as how and what slaves endured. I was amazed by the emotional force that hit me while reading this novel. I felt sad, angry, and happy. Eventually good does win…Anaelle Gadeyne has a talent for showing readers the ugliness of what occurs in life as well as the beauty of it. Overall, I highly recommend More than a Slave to readers worldwide.

Review: Reaper’s Claim

Synopsis:

In my motorcycle club I’ve earned the name ‘Reaper’ and now I have my claim on Abby Harrison.

Reaper:

I didn’t know what love was, but I knew what want was, and I wanted Abby. When I walked out of the club and saw her I was stone cold sober. She was quietly beautiful and unlike any other woman I’d had before. But she was the daughter of the president of Satan’s Sons MC and completely out of my reach.

Abby:

Everyone knew The Reaper and how he got his name, so I never expected him to be my salvation when my sisters drunk boyfriend wanted to lay hands on me. I thought my innocence would be lost in that alley, until he showed up and saved me. I know being with Reaper will lead to trouble, but I don’t know if I have the strength to stay away.
Being together might be dangerous, but outlaws are meant to break the rules.

Review:

Reaper’s Claim by Simone Elise is outstanding. It has everything one needs a hot action packed novel. Heat, sexy characters, and an emotional rollercoaster. The family situation is not normal but it works out for Abby and her sister as well as their dad. Being a single parent to raise his kids, he brought them to live in his biker bar. All the bikers know to respect the girls. Abby and her sister are 16-years-old and compete opposites. Abby is the studious good girl type while her sister is outgoing, moving from man to man and sucks at school. All it takes is for one moment outside and Abby meets Reaper, aka Kade. Everyone calls him Reaper. But Abby calls him by his real name. He is the biker son of another biker gang. Yet for some unknown reason fate has spiraled out of control and brought him face-to-face with a blue-eyed angle. Abby. But her age keeps him at bay. However the pull towards her is one he can’t resist. Their attraction and relationship goes up and down…definitely a realistic telling. I felt that the characters were real rather than just fictional. Simone Elise has susprised me with this romantic tale. Hot, raw, and bold. Reaper and Abby are entwined forever. But then something happens and their world falls apart…

Reaper’s Claim is a must read for all. Simone Elise kept me hooked. Every page was engaging. Drama, trouble, and danger…all hanging in the air. Plus, the raw attraction happening with two new couples and the novel takes on an explosive side. I enjoyed reading this book. I can’t wait to read the next book featuring what happens next…the ending was amazing. Overall, I highly recommend this to readers everywhere.

Review:

Spectra by Ebony Olson is a paranormal fantasy read. One that offers readers a lot of action, intrigue, and romance. The characters are suspenseful. Each has a goal. That goal leads them into each other’s circle. Once entered, there’s no turning away from what pulls them together. A fight worthy of every readers’ heart. Strong, bold, and entertaining.

Ebony Olson brings together one of the most fascinating mixtures. Angels and magic. A heady combination. Especially in the form of Spectra and Bay. These two characters had me captivated from the beginning. Three-dimensional, highly engaging, and so many possibilities…I loved it. Every page was enticing. Left me, feeling an adrenaline pumping into my system as each scene unfolded. Powerfully written, Spectra, is a must read for all. This new writer has definitely caught my full attention. I look forward to reading more of her work.
