Review: It’s in His Kiss

Synopsis:

ONE KISS CAN LAST FOREVER

Becca Thorpe has uprooted her life and escaped to the beach. Now’s her chance to get away from city living, throw caution to the ocean winds, and live in the moment. Especially, if the moment includes the deliciously sexy surfer she meets shortly after arriving in Lucky Harbor. Something about the dark intensity of Sam’s eyes and the thrill she gets at his touch convinces her to stay awhile.
Boatbuilder and investment genius Sam Brody is a self-made man who knows how dangerous it can be to mix business and pleasure. But he can’t resist offering Becca a job just to hear her laugh and have her near. Yet when her brother comes to town asking for help, will he tempt her back to her glamorous life in the city? Or do Sam and little Lucky Harbor have a chance to win Becca’s heart?

Review:

It’s in His Kiss by Jill Shalvis is a sexy contemporary tale. The physical and emotional need between the characters felt so real. It was like experiencing it first hand rather then being the spectator. Jill Shalvis is indeed a talented writer. Believable characters and scenes. The emotional journey is a constant struggle among the protagonists. Heart felt, engaging, and beautifully told. This book swallowed me up whole from the first page and it didn’t spit me back out until the last word. Funny, charming, and hot. Heat packed with tension and intense make it or break it moments. I wasn’t sure where the couple were headed. All I knew was that I wanted them together. Family was one major theme inside this tale. Family life changes the protagonists in many ways. But also, they end up changing their families too. I really liked that part.

Jill Shalvis shows readers how to face their fears. Living in the past doesn’t help the characters, Becca and Sam to move forward. Facing their issues, opening up by communicating together, and by letting their hearts open they can do anything. Love. It’s pretty when it happens. Messy, complicated, hot as hell. It’s in His Kiss is exactly that. Kisses from Sam make Becca melt into his arms. She can’t think straight when he looks at her or kisses her. Same with him. Becca drives Sam crazy. Her heart of gold warms him up to her. Plus, she’s sassy and smart. Sam is stubborn, smart, and hot. Together their chemistry flies off the pages. Overall, I highly recommend this novel to all.

Review: He’s So Fine

Synopsis:

For Olivia Bentley, Lucky Harbor is more than the town where she runs her new vintage shop. It’s the place where folks are friendly to strangers-and nobody knows her real name. Olivia does a good job of keeping her past buried, not getting too cozy with anyone . . . until she sees a man drowning. Suddenly she’s rushing into the surf, getting up close and personal with the hottest guy she’s ever laid hands on.

Charter boat captain Cole Donovan has no problem with a gorgeous woman throwing her arms around his neck in an effort to “save” him. In fact, he’d like to spend a lot more time skin-to-skin with Olivia. He’s just not expecting that real trouble is about to come her way. Will it bring her deeper into Cole’s heart, or will it be the end of Olivia’s days in little Lucky Harbor?

Review:

He’s So Fine by Jill Shalvis is sweet, charming, and hilarious. This contemporary romance is one that I highly recommend to all readers. Inside, I met two families. Complete opposites. Drives the main characters crazy and mad at times, but there is so much love. Hidden past comes colliding with Olivia’s present life. She finally found a new clean slate. Just as things were going perfect, her past tears it apart. Cole. He is a sexy as hell kind of man but also has a heart of gold. He’s been betrayed in the past by his girlfriend and best friend. Trust doesn’t come easy. Olivia is scared to fall in love with Cole just as he’s afraid of falling for her. Too late. Love has hit them both hard in the chest. Only time will tell where they go from here. I was hooked. Jill Shalvis brings her charcaters to life. I fell in love immediately. The humor is throughout the book. Family, new beginnings, and second chances. Overall, this was a well-told and unforgettable tale.

Review:

Accidentally on Purpose by Jill Shalvis is the most intoxicating romance read ever. Imagine having a sexy hulk in your life daily…he just oozes male and sex. What I really liked was how the tall handsome hulk never went after the gorgeous long legged blonde he worked with…both of the charcaters had restraint to a point. I was amazed. I would have melted on spot like Elle felt every time she went near him. Archer has that no nonsense attitude and he doesn’t like any other man around her…it drives him insane. But she, Elle, deserves the best. It will take some time before he realizes he’s had enough and goes after her. But by then, he’ll need to convince Elle that they fit together.

Once again, Jill Shalvis has created a masterpiece. One that tugs at my heart and has me on a rollercoaster ride. Jealously, need, want, love, laughter…sadness…Accidentally on Purpose has it all. I loved it. The charcaters created a visually engaging tale. One that hooked me from the beginning. A page turner. Hot, addictive, and entertaining. The scenes felt real…the romance kept building up…the suspense was a killer. Jill Shalvis has a talent for  writing the perfect romances that have just the right combination of elements to make readers like me fall in love. Overall, I highly recommend this brilliant story to readers worldwide.

Review:

Jill Shalvis has done it again! Her novels are absolutely brilliant. The heat that’s packed into each story along with the emotional journey is one to read. A talented writers whose words never fail her readers worldwide. I am a major fan of Jill Shalvis’s novels. Each one is unique, exciting, and romantic as the previous book before it.  Sweet Little Lies by Jill Shalvis is one that will bring readers to a realistic telling story with characters who are just as human as we are. Life is never fair and can be tough as nails…but it takes tougher individuals to sort it all out and to go through it all despite the hurt, surprise, and emotional baggage that comes with it all. Here, in this novel readers will see how Sweet Little Lies comes to life.

Sweet Little Lies is the newest installment by none other than Jill Shalvis. Her latest novel packs a punch and a romance unlike any other. Yes, the heroes are hot, sexy, and irresistible. But there’s much more here than beats the reader’s eye. A story of how one woman takes on the task of helping each person still feels obligated to help even though it was never her fault for what happened to them. One of these people she has helped is someone that makes her want the impossible. A relationship…with a man that makes her insides all gooey and causes all rational thoughts to leave. Her secret….is one that she should tell him…but she can’t find it in her heart to tell him sooner than she does.  Where their relationship goes after she finally decides to tell him the truth is one that readers will need to find out on their own. I enjoyed reading this contemporary romance filled with drama, loss, love, and humor. Pur’s dog and her way of accidently injuring the man she has the hots for creates amazing laugh-out-loud moments that are hard to forget. Overall, I highly recommend Sweet Little Lies to readers everywhere.

Book Review: Still the One by Jill Shalvis

Still the One is indeed still the one romance novel readers everywhere should read! Jill Shalvis has done it again. She has written another incredibly hot, sexy, and irresistible story. Her characters are oh my gosh so good, I couldn’t put the book down until after I have finished reading the whole thing.  Darcy Stone wasn’t expecting her former lover AJ Colten to come to her for help. But for Darcy, it is hard to resist temptation in the form of a hot and sexy Navy Vet and therapist. AJ is offering to help pay Darcy for her help with his fundraiser and that means she can earn enough to help place her dogs with emotionally wounded soldiers. Both AJ and Darcy are wounded from their past attempt at love. Can this new project bring them closer? How will pretending to be a couple blur when their old emotions and attraction hits them full on? Will they take their relationship past being just pretending? Or will they end up drifting farther apart?

Jill Shalvis novel is a must read. It is a realistic story telling how to characters come closer together by spending time together on a project. Every reader can associate themselves with each one of the characters. And the story will hook, lure and bait readers in by the ton. A story of rekindled love told in a refreshing way. I enjoyed reading this beautifully told story will leave readers wanting more to read. Still the One is a five out of five stars. It’s still the one novel you should definitely read!
