Will the truth harden his heart, or will love pave the way to a sweet future?

Rating: 4.5-stars

The Chocolate Touch by Melissa McClone is another exciting journey that involves chocolates, romances, and hearts on the line. I love chocolate and this book like the others in it’s series have been heart melting. Sweet, decadent, and intriguing. The suspense of what will come between an Air Force captain and a book writer is one that stole my heart. The characters were believable. The scenes made me feel like I was watching them unfold. The writer has a way of engaging her readers like me into her plot. Two alphas working together, fall in love…but can they keep what they have or will their differences set them apart? Truth can set them free or break them into a million pieces. Chantelle and York will both be tested and tempted. I liked the duo combination as it sparked chemistry, heat, and an HEA possibility. Overall, The Chocolate Touch was entertaining to follow. I recommend it to others.

Review: Burning Obsession

Her head whipped around. Long, sleek blond strands slashed across her face, sticking to her crimson lips. Her gaze locked with mine. Her tawny, mostly golden eyes were wide. Excitement—hot and bright—flared in them.

That was when it happened. Lightning struck.

The danger escalates along with Kyle’s own burning obsession for Tamera—and everything he’s learned as a bodyguard will be put to the ultimate test when it comes to saving her.

Burning Obsession by Calista Fox is another fabulous read. The writer has done it again! She has created another world full of lusty scenes and a compelling plotline. I was hooked. Kyle Jens is the sexy superhero kind of man. Just his presence alone could make any woman melt on the spot. His charming personality makes him the most wanted bachelor. Add his protective bodyguard skills and he’s got it all. Kyle has it all…but love. The only part of his life that is missing… He seems to sense this and is at an all time loss on where and what to look for…but then, one specific lady appears out of nowhere. E. Katherine Kottaras once again captures what it means to be a teenager in The Best Possible Answer.

Rating: 5 stars

The Best Possible Answer by E. Katherine Kottaras is a young adult novel unlike any I have personally read. This book is just as epic as The Fault in Our Stars movie was. Mega sad. Actually is was sad all the way until the ending…the ending gave off an enormous feeling just as strong the weight of grief. I can’t ruin it and say what the new feeling was…but it’s one worth experiencing from beginning to end.

Inside, The Best Possible Answer, I like the main character a lot. I easily was able to connect with her frustrations, anger, grief and other feelings. Her reactions are completely normal for any teenage girl. Yet she handled every major life situation as maturely as possible. Okay, shouting at people isn’t mature but certain times do call for it. Working a summer job, she ends up offering her summer money to her mom. That’s shows she handles situations above her teenage years. Most teenagers roll their eyes, show awful attitude, and don’t want to do more than necessary. Here, however, Vivian is pressured into doing too much by both of her parents. This sets into motion the conflict that will hover over every scene.

Katherine Kottaras’s latest novel, The Best Possible Answer, shows readers a realistic side of being a teenager. Not only that but also how a teenager goes through a traumatic experience. Parents divorcing, failing AP exams, doesn’t get into the college of choice, a secret photo popping up everywhere and a health condition that lands her in the hospital. Could the life of Vivian get any worse? Yes. It does. But that’s for readers to find out and for me to keep top secret. I loved reading it. A great novel that captures everything brilliantly. I hope this makes it onto the big screens one day. Super good. Overall, I highly recommend this read to all.

Rating: 5 stars

An Amish Harvest by four talented writers is an amazing book for all. Inside are four beautifully written novellas for everyone to enjoy. Clean, emotional and heart melting reads. I love reading anything Amish fictional piece because they are truly an enjoyable story of hard work, family, and inspiring faith as well as love. Yes, I read plenty of novels that are much more detailed and a lot more dirty than this collection but I highly recommend this collection of stories to readers everywhere. These are stories readers can come back to time and time again. Stories that not just give off the good feelings but also teach and inspire readers worldwide.

Under the Harvest Moon by Beth Wiseman is the first Amish romance presented to readers. Instantly, I was hooked.  The story follows a young Amish woman who is married at the young age of seventeen. Her husband is well looked up to within her community and to her children. But he hits her when he’s angry. No one knew or so the wife thought. When he husband dies and she mourned his death for several months she decides it’s time to move on with her life. An Englisher comes into her life knocking her off her feet. Her children love the Englisher and want him as the daed. But, her Amish parents don’t want her to like him and she’s not ready to marry again. Will the harvest moon bring these two adults peace and love in their lives or will they only be friends? Beth Wilson’s writing has humor, faith, courage, and love. It was definitely entertaining to read it, especially when two young Amish girls tell their mom they want the Englisher as their daed right in front of him in their own tongue. Surprising the Englisher heard and understood every word they said…overall, I highly recommend reading this tale.

Love and Buggy Rides by Amy Clipston is the next story.  This Amish romance was perfect. I fell in love with the main characters right away. An Amish woman sitting outside having her lunch when she witnessed the crash happening right before her. She saw what the Englisher was doing…he wasn’t paying attention and crashed into the Amish buggy that carried several people. Everyone was shaky and injured including the Amish driver. Janie told her family that she witnessed it all. Her father forbids her to tell anyone. Her daed didn’t want her involved in the Englishers’ suing business. However, a threat of suing the buggy owner and firing the buggy driver come up forcing Janie to choose between betraying her daed or doing what she knows is right. Then there’s the budding romance that is building up between Janie and Jonathan. But her parents also forbid it for two reasons. Jonathan is a decade older than her and he might be moving back to his home. Can Janie and Jonathan find what they are looking for before it’s too late? Amy Clipston writing is superb. I finished reading the story within one sitting. Overall, I highly recommend reading this enchanting novella to all.

A Quite Love by Kathleen Fuller is the third novella within this superb book. Kathleen Fuller’s tale is unlike another Amish romance tale that I have read. This one is about two kind loving Amish souls who find friendship and love in one another. Sweet, addictive, and beautifully done. An Amish man has trouble with reading and remembering some stuff. Yet his talent for drawing is out of this world. Then with a young Amish woman’s help, he learns how to read well and how to do other things as well. Together they learn and fall deeper in love. A quite love falls upon them both. Is a wedding in their future? I highly recommend for readers everywhere to read about them. This novella has tugged at my heart and made me fall in love with each of the main characters. Overall, this was a must read.

Mischief in the Autumn Air by Vannetta Chapman is the last novella in this inspiring collection. This last story was unique as well. It was an Amish historical mystery. The tale ended up reuniting Amish people and creating new beginnings. An old argument between two former Amish friends soon led to a treasure map hunt. The treasure map hunt brought together a group of Amish and led them to find hope, peace, and new love. Vannetta Chapman brought a young man back to his Amish roots and finding work, then helping an older Amish aunt to get the medical help and for two workers to find a love to last a lifetime. Truly an entertaining and suspenseful read. Clean and heart melting too. Overall, I highly recommend this novella to readers everywhere.

OMG! I don’t know where or how to begin telling you all just how AMAZING this historical novel by Nicole Strycharz is. First, readers are dragged into the world where women had little or no choice in matters…just like Abby inside of this story. Her father was a harsh, cold-hearted, and a very cruel man. He didn’t care if she died like her poor Mamma did. Her mother didn’t come from wealth or high standing so her father didn’t care about his dying wife nor their daughter. He thinks of them as extra weight keeping him from reaching his power position. Readers will immediately feel a sense of love and sympathy for Abby has her father punishes her simply because she wouldn’t lie to secure his position and because she fell in love with a stable boy, August. A Valentine for August is indeed a must read for all.

Second, readers will see how strong Abby holds herself up despite all of her father’s evil doing to tear hear and August away…Abby is heroine characters will fall in love with and would love to have as a friend. Third, readers will be surprised at the turn of events that involve Abby’s father, her future, and her man of dreams- August. A Valentine for August is truly heart-melting, suspenseful, and an adventure of a lifetime. I could not stop reading this beautifully told romance by Nicole Strycharz. Her talent shines with every novel she has every written. I highly recommend A Valentine for August to readers worldwide. You will be submerged deep into a historical past that has twists and turns everywhere. An exciting heart-throbbing heated novel that readers simply cannot miss! Best of all, you can read all of her novels in any order and still follow each character’s story. Nicole Strycharz is a new writer to watch out for…

Review: Covered Bridge Charm

Carly Blosser may not match the typical description of a conservative Mennonite woman—unmarried at 27, living alone, and careening around her Oregon neighborhood on a pink bicycle—but she has a soft heart for the elderly Mennonite residents at Sweet Life Assisted Living Facility, where she works as a caregiver. When Carly’s plans for a new volunteer program go awry, she shifts her focus to one lonely resident named Martha. Adam Lapp, a wood shop instructor at Sweet Life, joins with Carly to reunite Martha with an old flame before her 85th birthday. Carly and Adam’s hunt involves carved initials on covered bridges, digging up the past, and the appearance of a newcomer, who hinders the budding romance between the two. Soon, new clues sweep them all in a harried race to the finish line where love is sure to be the ultimate prize.

My Rating: 5 Stars

My Review:

Covered Bridge Charm by Dianne Christner is absolutely a must read for all. This exciting yet sweet Christian romance will entice readers from everywhere. The build up of tension on both of the protagonists’ sides is intirguing. Readers won’t know which way the wind will blown when it comes to Carly and Adam. This was my first read by Dianne Christner. After reading this perfectly well-written story, I am definitely on the look out for more of her novels. The ending will leave readers wondering…and wanting more by this talented writer.

Covered Bridge Charm is romantic, funny, and a mysterious. Readers will be left hanging in suspense, when Adam and Carly are around each other. At first it’s like the two are dodging bullets but then something changes both of them…One moment is all it takes for for readers to fall in love with this amazing novel. I could see and hear every scene as if I were actually there. That is what I love about reading this brilliant heart melting and swoon worthy read. A real man that makes a woman blush and sweeps her off her feet is one to behold, maybe Adam is just that guy.  As they say opposites attract and that’s exactly what Adam and Carly are. However, Carly is plain looking, super sweet, and talks a lot. Plus, she’s always in one scrape or another. Can a man like Adam handle a generous loving and independent woman like Carly or will they both lose out on a chance of a life time? Readers beware, once you open this up, you won’t be putting it down until you finished reading the last page. Dianne Christner will lure readers in like a moth to a flame with her irresistible plot and charming characters.  Overall, I highly recommend this romance to readers everywhere.
