Review: Justice Buried

Synopsis:

In an effort to get her security consulting business off the ground, Kelsey Allen has been spending a lot of time up in the air, rappelling down buildings and climbing through windows to show business owners their vulnerabilities to thieves. When she is hired to pose as a conservator at the Pink Palace Museum in order to test their security weaknesses after some artifacts go missing, she’s ecstatic. But when her investigative focus turns from theft to murder, Kelsey knows she’s out of her league–and possibly in the cross hairs. When blast-from-the-past Detective Brad Hollister is called in to investigate, Kelsey may find that he’s the biggest security threat yet . . . to her heart.

Review:

Justice Buried by Patricia Bradley is a stunning piece of literature. A romantic suspense that catches my attention immediately. The plot is fun and engaging. I enjoyed reading this story. Both main characters share an interesting past. Their future is unclear but gets more exciting with every page.

The past opens up and leaves Kelsey Allen wondering. Theft, murder, and danger all in one perfect tale. Kelsey works in showing others what they’re lacking in security. On one such showing, she is threatened. That’s when she calls in for help. Detective Brad comes to the rescue. Together they work on solving both the past and present crime investigation.

I haven’t read any of Patricia Bradley’s novels. After reading this one, I can definitely say, I’ll be adding her to my favorites list. Patricia Bradley delivers a promising new adventure. Her characters entertained me from the start.  Felt real…both characters were easy to connect to, as well as liking them. Overall, I recommend this suspenseful book to readers everywhere.

Review: Burning Obsession

Synopsis:

Her head whipped around. Long, sleek blond strands slashed across her face, sticking to her crimson lips. Her gaze locked with mine. Her tawny, mostly golden eyes were wide. Excitement—hot and bright—flared in them.

That was when it happened. Lightning struck.

For two years, Kyle Jenns dodged danger and bullets with his now-best friend, Ari Bax, when ruined investors of the exclusive resort 10,000 Lux sabotaged not just the hotel, but also targeted Ari. Now with the bad guys locked up and Kyle being a full-fledged bodyguard and head of security at the Lux, he’s ready to start the next chapter of his life. Having absolutely no idea it’s going to happen the moment he lays eyes on a stunning blond named Tamera Fenmore.

The chemistry between them is instantaneous and hot. But Tamera’s suddenly in the crosshairs of a killer, needing Kyle’s protection as much as she needs his passionate kisses. The danger escalates along with Kyle’s own burning obsession for Tamera—and everything he’s learned as a bodyguard will be put to the ultimate test when it comes to saving her.

Review:

Burning Obsession by Calista Fox is another fabulous read. The writer has done it again! She has created another world full of lusty scenes and a compelling plotline. I was hooked. Kyle Jens is the sexy superhero kind of man. Just his presence alone could make any woman melt on the spot. His charming personality makes him the most wanted bachelor. Add his protective bodyguard skills and he’s got it all. Kyle has it all…but love. The only part of his life that is missing… He seems to sense this and is at an all time loss on where and what to look for…but then, one specific lady appears out of nowhere. One that changed his life forever. Love is something that you can’t live without…and Tamera Fenmore is just that for Kyle. Chemistry burns red hot between characters. There are danger and plenty of action. Readers will fall in love with this novel. Exactly as I have. Burning Obsession is indeed the perfect title to an irresistible story. Calista Fox knew what she was doing when she created this masterpiece. Overall, I recommend this hot romance to readers everywhere.
