Review: The Seal’s Secret Lover

The first in the Alpha Ops novella series that features an alpha Navy SEAL who meets his match in a buttoned-up firecracker who is hiding a passionate side.

Logistics director Rose Powell agreed to chaperone her grandmother on a guided tour of Roman ruins on one condition: her brother Jack would come with her. But when Jack backs out, his best friend and fellow SEAL Keenan Parker takes his place. Without a working cell phone, Rose’s orderly world drifts into dreamy days and hot, secret nights in Keenan’s bed. Keenan left the Navy but never made it any farther than Istanbul, much less to a viable future. Until he does, he’ll show Rose things she didn’t know about herself. Can he give his heart and his future to the woman he promised his best friend he’d never touch?

My Rating: 5 stars

My Review:

The Seal’s Secret Lover by Anne Calhoun is a novel that will heat up a reader’s night like a match to gasoline.  Never have readers felt a novel that shows them how to both open their hearts and bodies to the unknown. That’s exactly what happens here in Anne Calhoun’s sizziling read. Readers beware of the heat because this book only gets hotter with every page.

A woman who hesitates to complete a task…but only will do it if a specific person comes with her. Just as the agreement is sealed…it crashes hard and fast. Rose Powell is now in a hot seat. She is filled with taking on the task hands-on and that won’t be the only thing that her hands will be busy with.  Keenan Parker magically takes the place of the a man whom he made a promise to and now, with a woman like Rose near him, that promise will be difficult to keep. The instant these two characters meet, the faster the novel spins forward. A man like Keenan is what every woman needs. Someone who makes her laugh, and feel wanted…The Seal’s Secret Lover, leaves readers with intrigue as they read on to find out what happens.

This was the first novel I have read, by Anne Calhoun, and it was everything I could dream of. Fun, sexy, exciting is exactly what The Seal’s Secret Lover is. Readers won’t be disappointed with this military romance. Readers will still be thinking about Rose and Keenan until Anne Calhoun’s next brilliant masterpiece. Overall, I highly recommend this well-written story to readers everywhere.

My Rating: 5 stars

My Review:

Draw Me Close is the first novel I have read by Nicole Michaels. Her story is filled with two amazing heroes that will melt te hearts of readers everywhere. A hot, intriguing and exciting adventure wait at the hands of readers. Nicole Michaels has beautifully woven a passionate yet sexy read. The characters are brilliantly well-developed and will charm anyone who follows their journey. Upon reading this romantic story, readers will see that one character is a decorator and the other an architect. This sounds like the perfect match; however, the plot goes much deeper and starts off with where the two were in the past. One wanting to settling down and the other wasn’t ready. Readers will be drawn instantly to this heartmelting and perfect novel.

Inside of Nicole Michaels’ novel, Draw Me Close, readers will be wondering if the couple will finally get together or not.  Love is strong and never fades even with time and distance.  Derek Walsh gave up the best thing to ever happen to him, Lindsey Morales. She wanted to start a home and family with Derek. However, Derek wanted nothing more than to build up is career not settle down. That left them separated. Now, after several years they are brought back together. Working side-by-side on an old farm house. Feelings start to rise once more and Derek is willing to gamble everything to win Lindsey back. But the question is will he? I absolutely loved reading this latest novel by Nicole Michaels, and I look forward to reading more of her work. Overall, I highly recommend this title to readers everywhere.

We all have been there in one point of our lives, where we make big decisions that can affect our whole future. Most times these decisions leave or lead us back home, where we once started out. This is where readers will find Neve McKay. Neve sets herself up for trouble the moment she’s back home. She left home for a job and is now back. Readers will be intrigued as to why she doesn’t connect immediately with her family, when she first arrives. It’s funny how news gets around, when you’re not ready to annouce it yourself. That, is where Neve is left. The announcement that she’s back makes its rounds and her family hears of it. They wonder why she hasn’t come to them first but soon all that unfolds, in this magnificent plot. A story that will both entice and lure readers every time. Also, there’s romance in the air. First night back home, and Neve falls hard for the pub guy, who happens to own the pub. He immediately wants her the first time he lays on eyes on her as she walks through his pub. Something greater than fate, is pulling them into each other. Readers will love these realistic, funny, sweet and charming characters. Unforgettable scenes that will keep readers turning the pages. Book Review: Cowboy Take Me Away by Soraya Lane

Cowboy Take Me Away by Soraya Lane is an excellent read for those who love a romance with sexy challenging characters that come to life. I choose this novel because the cover drew my eyes into reading what the story was about and then I was forever lured in. A deep complex plot like no other and irresistible scenes that will tug at readers hearts. Soraya Lane definitely knows how to leave her readers breathless and in suspense.

Cowboy Take Me Away is exactly that. One cowboy who got under one woman’s skin and has never once left her thoughts. Now, many years later, Hope Walker carries the greatest secret of all. How does one keep the fact that one very hot cowboy has a child. A child he’s never known about? But that’s not the only complication that heads into Hope’s and Chase King’s lap. Somebody stole the special high quality sperm for the King Ranch herd. But who? Chase has lived with the fact that he let go the one woman who means the world to him and now, she’s back and not only that but has a child too. Fate definitely has major plans for the two old lovers and it’s going to get a whole lot hotter and more exciting as the plot unfolds. Daring, bold, and beautifully well-written, Soraya Lane has brought together one unforgettable masterpiece that will stick with readers forever. I loved reading this romantic novel and following the family as their journey begins. I highly recommend this to readers worldwide and rate it a five out of five stars.

Book Review: Forever This Time by Maggie McGinnis

Forever This Time by Maggie McGinnis is the kind of forever romance that will leave readers feeling good and begging for the next installment. I choose this novel because nothing is forever and my curiosity was exploding. Maggie has beautifully spun together a story that will lure readers deep into the romantic plot that gets exciting with every page.

Forever This Time is indeed just that. Two highschool sweethearts living the old cliché romance that we all see in movies. However, this one ends up surprising not only the guy that goes all out and proposes to a woman of his dreams, who has said yes, but to us readers as well. A girl who can’t wrap her mind around the love that her and her boyfriend have. It’s the kind that she’s always dreamed of and it’s happening. Now, after ten years away from each other and the pain of rejection, both are going through the Forever This Time moment again. Ethan wants to shut out his feelings for Josie but saying is harder than doing. Josie has come back and she has a lot on her plate. Her father has a stroke and may or may not recover, then there’s her mom, and now, the awkward moment of seeing Ethan again. Does he hate her? He should..

I highly recommend this brilliant cozy romance to all. This novel by Maggie McGinnis is fresh, bold, and charming. I loved every moment. Readers will leave the confines of their homes and travel deep into the shoes of Josie and Ethan. So much history, passion, pain, and a lot to learn before fate seals the deal. But will it be a happy Christmas or a sad one? Readers must grab a copy and read on to find out! I promise it’s worth reading. Overall, I rate Forever This Time a five out of five stars.

Book Review: Burned Deep by Calista Fox

Burned Deep by Calista Fox is one romance that will burn deep into readers hearts. Calista Fox has beautifully woven together a story of two very different characters who somehow share a passion strong enough to light fire. I was intrigued the moment I started reading. The main female character is strong outside but just how strong is she on the inside once a certain hottie makes it his desire to undo her completely. Burned Deep is hot, suspenseful, and the best novel I have read. I highly recommend it to all.

Have you ever felt a passion hit you straight on and never let go? What about the defense you have worked hard to build up to suddenly come down crashing one by one? Ari DeMille is experiencing just that. Her whole strong hold is crumbling thanks to simple hot desire and lust. One sexy man such as her boss, is determined to fight his way through life and fight his way into Ari. But soon, fate made the desire and the chase a lot more dangerous. Burned Deep isn’t just about one woman maybe losing her heart and very soul to a man, who may or may not love her in return, but a novel where life tries stealing things from under your very own feet. Can both Ari and her boss Dane fight to win? Calista Fox has brilliantly lured me deep into her intriguing world where lust and passion do not come easy. Readers will fall in love with both Ari and Dane. They both are realistic and their flaws bring their story closer to our hearts. Pulling us closer until we fall in. Need a novel with spice, action, and heat? Then Burned Deep is just for you. Overall, I rate it a five out of five stars.

Book Review: Home for Christmas by Lily Everett

Home for Christmas by Lily Everett is one warm and cozy romance that readers will love. Two unlikely characters come back home to Sanctuary Island. This time it’s Christmas and each character has his and her own reason for returning.  Something in their current life has brought them back home to face what they left. Readers will find themselves lost in the hopes for what could be the one of the best Christmases ever.

Home for Christmas makes me think of snowmen and hot chocolate. Decorating a tree and making snow angels. Lily Everett has beautifully put together a story of family, new love, and tough choices. But is it really hard to make a decision when those you love are there with you? Readers will find out as they are lured deep into the very lives and heart of both a war hero and a solitaire columnist are forced out of their comfort zones. A  man who has been injured and wants back into the war zone yet has a daughter whom he just now found out exists. Owen’s afraid his daughter won’t want him and heck his childhood wasn’t perfect which leads him to guessing on how to connect his little girl. A girl just as stubborn as her father. Then there’s Libby a writer at heart. She spends her time alone writing for a food magazine until her boss signs her up for a job that leads to her spilling about all her lies. She is now left with two choices from her boss, do the job well or be fired. Libby can’t lose her job and so sets on back home where she has to help Owen and his daughter. Can these two find their Christmas miracles with each other or will both lose everything that’s dear to them? I highly recommend this heart melting and sweet romance to all. It’s hard not to connect with each of the characters. Plus, Lily Everett has masterfully woven a sense of humor into a loving tale about family, love, and new chances. Overall, I rate this novel a five out of five stars.

Book Review: Trouble When You Walked In by Kieran Kramer

Trouble When You Walked In by Kieran Kramer is indeed the most fascinating hot read readers will see. Brilliant, sexy, and heart melting are the three things I would use to decribe this novel. Readers will be swept off their feet deep into the novel. Readers will get a front row seat of how the main female character struggled with her feelings towards the alpha male in her town. Two family’s driven apart from one another. Neither one likes the other. A fiery passion that soon leads to a romance unlike any other. Readers won’t be able to resist the tempation set out by Kieran Kramer. Her words are vibrant and will send your emotions into overdrive in a really good way. Overal, I loved reading this stunning piece and highly recommend it to readers worldwide.

Kieran Kramer has created a masterpiece that readers won’t want to put down. Her characters lure us into the scene and drag us fast into the action. It’s hard not to fall in love with a girl who follows the rules and loves books. Now as an adult and facing her opponent who so happens to be the same guy she crushed on. The one and only Boone Braddock. Cissie is now the librarian in her small country town and Boone has come to take away the one place she loves. Moving the library to a spot that use to be a bar because the funds and old library building can’t be kept up any longer. Cissie trys to convince Boone not to move her library, but to no avail. She then hates him for what he’s doing. But what Boone and Cissie don’t know is that fate has something planned for them both. Cissie and Boone’s worlds will soon colide and they might end up liking each other more than they ever thought. Will Cissie be able to save her library and manage to keep her heart inatact? I definitely recommend readers to begin reading Troubel When You Walked In to find out. Overall, I rate it a five out of five stars.
